I ordered this for my 13 year old daughter. She showed me it when looking for her sanitary products and I brought her four. One for her school bag, one for her bedroom, one for the bathroom and one for outings and sleepovers/ everyday use out of school. Parents need to understand that it comes with tampons so that your child can experiment and find what’s right for herself- not what you want her to wear because you think it is age appropriate. When your child starts her period she is old enough to use a diva cups, tampons, pads or whatever she is comfortable with so let her experiment and choose. This is the feature unlike some people I love- it comes with different products to try out. My daughter was worried that her first period was brownish in colour but in the book it explains everything about period from the colour to the heaviness, what products they are and it even explain how to use them and goes into a bit of detail about puberty. I left my daughter to read the booklet and look at the different products and now she is much more confident. I let her face time her sister and friends who had already started and they were happy to explain stuff to her and it stopped her panicking. My daughter loved the product and they didn’t leak it is the perfect thing to buy for teens. Remember this is for teens so if you buy it for a younger child who hasn’t started her period make sure she knows tampons aren’t the best product to use for your first period and that you should try them on your first heavy period. Also on this book it touches on TSS make sure to explain this to your child in more detail and tell her ways to avoid it. Make sure she knows how rare it is and that she shouldn’t worry. Overall and excellent product and once use your daughter may want to try a diva cup that’s better for her and the environment. So if your child is 8 or 16 you should definitely get this product I have been recommending it to others along with my daughter who loves it and is now excited about her periods rather than worried. perfect size. On top of the products that come my daughter can fit a spare par of underwear, her diva cup, sanitary bags and a tampon liner in the bag. Highly recommend, thanks for reading.

THIS IS THE PERFECT STARTER KIT FOR ANY YOUNG GIRL TO HAVE IN THERE ROOM, OR SCHOOL BAG. IF IT WAS TO ACCIDENTALLY FALL OUT IN THE POUCH THAT COMES WITH IT THEN THEY WOULDN'T GET EMBARRASSED AS IT JUST LOOKS LIKE A TYPICAL GIRLS MAKE UP BAG. BETTER THAN THERE PAD OR TAMPON FALLING OUT IN FRONT OF THERE SCHOOL PEERS. MY DAUGHTER AND I HAVE ALWAYS DISCUSSED ABOUT PERIODS AND AS SHE HAD JUST TURNED 11 AND STARTED HIGH SCHOOL THIS TERM, I LOVE THIS FOR HER TO HAVE FOR WHEN THE TIME COMES FOR HER FIRST PERIOD. THE LEAFLET IS A GREAT READ AND VERY INFOMATIVE ABOUT PUBERTY AND ALL THEY NEED TO KNOW ABOUT PERIODS AND MUCH MORE. AND THE LITTLE POUCH WILL LAST AS ITS MADE VERY WELL, AND IS ALSO WATERPROOF. THIS IS WHAT EVERY GIRL SHOULD HAVE TO STORE THERE PADS AND TAMPONS IN TO JUST CHUCK IN THERE SCHOOL BAG WITHOUT EVER BEING WORRIED OR EMBARRASSED ABOUT ANYONE SEEING THEM CARRY THERE ESSENTIAL PERIOD ITEMS. I WOULD RECOMMEND BUYING THIS EVEN IF THEY HAVE ALREADY STARTED THERE PERIODS AS THE POUCH IS PERFECT.

I love that there are sanitary products in a cute little bag, along with an instruction booklet of how to use the items.One thing that I wasn't overly happy about was that it contains tampons. I've taken them out for my 11 year old daughter, but wish Lil Lets would make a more age appropriate pack. That's the only reason I took a star off (that's nothing to do with the seller though, the seller sent these quick and efficiently, so I'm very happy with the service).Other than that, it's the perfect little addition to having "the talk," and it fits nice and discreetly in my daughter's school bag.

These are absolutely lovely, discreet little bags.My daughter is 12 so we bought her 2 of these - one for her school bag and one for her bedroom, which she can take with her on sleepovers too.There's a lovely little book that explains everything, so when the big day happens, she will be prepared!Giving my daughter these, I was able to have a lovely chat to her about what happens when the big day comes. We obviously have had chats previously, but when she received these little bags, she was no longer embarrassed to talk about it. It was a lovely icebreaker, she opened right up and she actually wanted to talk about it, asking lots of questions.

I got this for my 8 year old daughter. Puberty has started and i wanted her to be prepared so she will not be scared when she gets her period. You get a selection of pads and tampons and its good because kids can try a selection.It comes with a little book and it tells you all about periods and explains what puberty is.Its a great source of information.She feels confident now that if it starts at school she will know what to do and be prepared.I would definetly reccomend this product. It comes in a small pretty bag and for less then 3 quid its a bargain

Daughter wasn’t overly impressed when I told her what I’d got as she is not keen on the idea of starting puberty. However when she saw the pack she was really impressed and loves it, all the towels are prettily wrapped. Which she really liked and the bag is pretty and roomy enough for some wipes and little bags for disposing of used towels. It has tampons which she thinks are horrendous but the content allowed some really honest conversation about her choices.A really useful information leaflet and we both feel much more confident that she will cope with her periods when they arrive.
