It was exactly what I wanted and arrived quickly.

Linked camera to phone to use on a tripod. Camera goes off after 5 minutes of idle time. Once it goes off you have to turn it back on to reconnect Wi-Fi to phone. If you try to take a still image every 4.5 minutes so it won’t go off, the battery dies fast. Was a disaster and didn’t capture my target because the battery quit 12 minutes before his arrival. Bright lit screen doesn’t turn off in “dark” mode so I had to use the upside down mode to lay the screen flat on the tripod clamp. So when it did turn off I had to unclamp it to turn it on and reset the Wi-Fi connection.

I like this product. Takes work to adjust for proper coverage while shooting. Still working out auto record and auto stop. Have some recording go 8 minutes of waiting and some < 1 minute. Good product.

I bought this for my dad and he loves it!!!

I did my research, or so I thought. From day 1 it’s been a struggle to get this thing to work. I haven’t gotten any help calling or going online for customer support through Tactacam, just put on hold. The biggest issue I have now is that it won’t charge. It has issues falling out of the mount unless it is mounted covering the power button. It came with zero instructions, just a link to their website that is not customer friendly for troubleshooting issues. I tried to return it but found out that this product is not a returnable item. For such an expensive item I expected it to work without issues for at least the first few years I used it. At this point I should have just burned the money to keep my hands warm while I was hunting, instead of constantly fumbling around with this piece of garbage.

Fast battery drain! Was not impressed with it at all. I returned it for a refund!

Had issues with the holder for the tactacam but eventually got one that worked. Believe we went through about 3 before getting one that would screw on properly. Otherwise worked ok. Not able to pull up on phone for some reason though.
