AL ANEEQ Oudh Jamal Perfume for Men - Arabic Perfume Oud for Men Eau de Parfum 100ml

I wanted something 'different'. My usual is L'EAU D'ISSEY POUR HOMME 'INTENSE' plus the occassional 20 year favourite of Dior Eau De Savage. The write up on OUDH made it clear that it would be quite strong (so use less!) and based upon OUDH which I came across many times whilst workig/living in the Arab Republic of Yemen. Yemeni's that can afford to purchase such products fit into <1% of the 15 million population. I became aware of the OUDH direction of perfume whilst setting up a new 'Cosmetics factory' as part of a new group of factory's to supply the HUGE vacuum in the market- the 'usual missing us$'s' from banks made direct imports impossible hence my Chairman & Board members (including myself as Group Production, Technical, HSE Director) determined to use the 'outside Yemen' banking to purchase equipment & raw materials. The OUDH mens perfume is absolutely,in my personal opinion' almost UNIQUE in the notes it gives out when applied. It is quite strong- good in Yemen- just use less- try it on a female starting with a single squirt around the inner wrists but NOT in a room you are going to ask 'do you like it. As I mentioned numerous times it is, like all 'smells' in the world of Cosmetics etc VERY unusual & I personally love it and its much related bottle-woody looking. It took several attempts before my wife DID like it so as a mans 'perfume/after shave' I suggest a little is better than a lot. That has nothing to do with cost as it is well priced but better NOT to have it thown in the bin because your 'better half' initially hates it. Steady the boat, little by little or dont even mention it but try it on yourself first as it can manifest with slight differences it can reap great rewards as a 'stand out/stand alone' between us 'hunky fellows' BUT IF you get a thumbs up it willalmost certainly get the same at the BBQ, pictures, days out & sitting on the beach! Good luck- this bold idea for OUDH should be welcomed and be a great success so persevere, its not a huge investment but it IS a great product- in my humble opinion of course!!

It is a very nice warm aroma , quite unique. My only criticism is it lacks longevity on the skin, it does last longer on the clothing.

Absolutely unbelievable fragrance! You make 'friends' with the ladies, with this. Trust me on that, if nothing else. The aroma, carried everywhere, and, lingered. Compliments, glad eyes, and statements such as 'must get this for my fella,' were, frequantly heard or whispered, amongst female colleagues. Buy it!! But be careful. The results could, be life changing..

Decent smell, but monotone, no aftertones at all. Problem is it has no longevity. I would not buy it again.

I have used used Oudh fragrance in its purest form which is very strong, with excellent projection and sillage. Based on the cost of this perfume I was bit skeptical whether it is anything close to real oudh. After wearing it 2-3 times in past week, I can safely say that it is a fantastic perfume at a bargain price. Design: Bottle is beautifully designed, doesn't look cheap at all. Projection: Strong projection, definitely long lasting, smell stays on even overnight and one can get the occasional whiffs if they haven't put it on the next day. Sillage: Leave a strong trail of fragrance and definitely gets alot of attention. Conclusion: I didn't expect it to be this good since oud oil and oil perfume in purest form are really expensive. This could be one of the best alternatives. Put it this way, My wife can tell that I am wearing Oudh Jamal even if I standing 5 meters away and haven't walked past her yet. She loves it.
