Faucet Diverter Valve with Aerator, 3-Way Diverter Valve for Hand Held Shower, Sink Faucet Splitter for Kitchen and Bathroom, with 55/64'', 15/16'', G1/2” Adapters

I use this faucet diverter to route water from my kitchen sink to a reverse osmosis (RO) system. I’ve purchased it twice. The first one eventually leaked, the second has been running for over a year with daily use and no issues. The difference wasn’t the product, it was how I was using it. RO systems create more resistance than typical faucet attachments. Running this diverter at full blast puts unnecessary pressure on the seals. With the replacement, I stopped opening the faucet all the way and used a moderate flow rate. Since then, it’s been completely leak-free. A few practical notes from real use: • Use plumber’s tape on the threads. This is essential to prevent drips. • Snug is good, overtightening is not. • If you’re feeding an RO system, don’t run the faucet wide open. Lower flow reduces pressure and extends the life of the diverter. I like that this allows me to switch between normal sink use and filtered water without making permanent plumbing changes. It’s compact, affordable, and easy to install if you take a minute to do it properly. Minor cons: • Not designed for sustained high-pressure flow • Requires correct installation and reasonable water pressure Overall, this has worked very well once installed and used correctly. The current one has been reliable for over a year, and I would buy it again for the same setup.

This diverter valve works exactly as expected. It installs easily and doesn’t leak. Switching between the faucet and the hose is smooth, and the build quality feels strong and durable. Great upgrade for attaching filters or sprayers.

We have a beautiful shower with all kinds of nobs and dials and multiple settings. Hand held, waterfall, rain, mist, spray and faucet -- plus it times your shower and tells you the water temp. It looks great and wife lives it. The handheld broke inside the shower unit. Everything else is working. I picked this up to "Frankenstein" the shower unit to plug the hand-held shower "wand" in to the faucet. It's not pretty, but it works. At a very reasonable price. That shower want takes about 2-3 mins off my shower time. The vinyl tape made sure there were no leaks and while the pressure is a bit lower plugged in to the faucet, it's more than acceptable. My only complaint is the threaded adaptor to fit in the faucet fixture was almost too short and I had to be very careful not to strip the threads -- removed one star for that. Note: This is not a permanent fix for us -- but to carry us over a few months to replace the entire shower unit as I discovered the innards of it were very cheaply made (sad for something that ran us near $600) and I just don't have the time for this type of repair right now. I can easily see this being handy for a tub that has no shower option! I had something similar years ago I added to my apartment tub (which didn't have a shower).

I really wanted to like this product, because it was cheap, had enough adapters to not make me worry about making additional trips, and had everything I wanted. Given the price I knew that beggars can't be choosers in terms of quality - however, even with the reduced expectations it was a disappointment. Main reason why I returned the product: it was leaking from the ridged turning handle (or whatever that part is called) - see pic of the one with the running water. It wasn't something that applying PTFE tape could fix, because it's leaking from a part that is not accessible. Other secondary reasons: I wanted to attach my own aerator, because the provided aerator was really bad quality. However, the threading wasn't great so I spent a lot of effort screwing the custom aerator on. Lots of doubts about the quality of the material, even with the reduced expectations. E.g., noticed some additional metal shavings that were still attached to some of the parts. It certainly is "usable", but now I can't turn the faucet on full flow without the leak turning from a small, manageable trickle to a stream shooting to the wall.

Solid, well machined,works great, nice design, and a great deal.

The faucet is leaking less than a year .

I was replacing a broken valve and this is junk. I put it on and it broke off like the peace literally broke off. That goes around the sink. I mean, how do you make junk like this waste of my time? I've been waiting. I'm waiting for this part.

It worked connecting a faucet to a shower head or converting faucet to bidet. I tried so many things and this one only thing worked. I had to use a rubber washer from the original aerator on this connector to the faucet

Have been using it for nearly a year now, not a single issue. Had to remove it once to reinstall the hose, still locked in and no leaks. Happy with the quality

Funciona bien, hasta el momento. Hay que dar el teflón, que suministran con el dispositivo, o perderá agua porque el sellado de las gomas, también suministradas, no es totalmente estanco. Esto ocurre principalmente entre la unión del grifo con el dispositivo. La unión con la ducha va bien.
