CND Vinylux Long Wear Nail Polish (No Lamp Required), 15 ml, Purple Shades

This is the second Vinylux colour that I've tried, I love them! Both of the colours were a slightly different colour than they appeared in the picture which I would say is the only downfall, but still worth 5 stars! Tango passion is slightly darker and has a shimmer which I personally cannot see in the photo, but still a beautiful colour! The last application of the previous colour lasted 5 days on me, but my hands work hard as I'm constantly washing up, cleaning, doing up zips and poppers for my children etc! I could have gotten away with another day, but I wanted to try this new colour and I had a little bit of tip wear/slight cracking to the top coat, but only I would have noticed that probably! Goes on so smoothly, and dries quickly, I'm sat here painting while my baby is asleep so hopefully she will sleep a full hour! :D

I bought this nail polish on my daughter's recommendation, and I can honestly say it is the easiest nail polish I have ever used. It dries quickly, goes on very smoothly and gives a fantastic result. The colour is gorgeous!! No base coat is required, but there is a top coat to apply which makes it extra hard. I hadn't realised so didn't have any, but I will definitely purchase some for next time!

Thought it would be a brighter colour but it stays on around a week so I'm OK with it.

Really does last longer than normal nail varnishes and quick drying too, I particularly like this colour with a fine layer of the colour 'Ice Bar' applied before the top coat.

I am not sure if I am doing something wrong but my nails started to chip within hours. This vanish claims to last 7 days, it chipped after 7 hours. Now less than 24 hours later I don't have one nail that hasn't chipped. I haven't done anything like gardening or DIY and have worn gloves when washing up. It is a shame as it is a beautiful colour. I have tried vinylux before and had the same issue. I thought the quality may have now improved but it appears not. It has stayed well on my toes in the past.

I love this colour and the polish goes on smoothly and easily, with good coverage and dries quickly. However, I am on day 3 and it is showing signs of wear, the tips of my nails are definitely wearing but so far no chips ( and I have a couple of nails that are peeling and so far the polish is still adhering to those nails). it might just be that the slight wear is more obvious with such a dark colour. i have had my nails shellaced a couple of times and I would say that shellac is the more superior product however the cost advantage of this product and the ease of being able to do this at home myself not having to return to a salon to have the polish removed may well win me over yet. I'll edit the review after a few more days to give the product a fair chance

Good coverage. Long lasting

Does exactly what it says it will do when used with the top coat recommended. Easier than shellac, albeit not as shiny. It goes on like just like normal nail polish without a base coat and you can do this at home yourself. Perfect nails for seven days. Love the colour.

I love CND because it seems to be free of many harmful chemicals while lasting comparably to Gel with fewer risks. The color is rich and beautiful. Video Violet is one of my favorite shades and a whole bottle here on amazon cost a fraction of what I was charged at the salon!

Beautiful color- it is a very nice color of purple- the quality is fantastic. No chipping at all for more than a week.

Amazing coverage with longer lasting color. Did not believe that a nail polish would be as durable as this brand. Working retail, my hands are always moving- hangers, racks, as well as working the register ( let alone being in constant view to the customer) the bonus to this product is the fact that removal is fast and drying time is quick.
