Don't be discouraged by some other reviews, as regards the taste and dark brown colour. This product is top class, dissolves easily in water and is amongst the highest sources of natural Vitamin C (as opposed to ascorbic acid) in nature! Hence, the taste is slightly sour and a little bitter, but adding the right amount (as mentioned on the packaging) to your cold smoothy or fruit juice makes the taste, if undesired, go unnoticed. Be sure not to add it to any warm or hot liquids as this would destroy the Vitamin C which is extremely heat-sensitive. Best of health to everyone, cheers ; )

Great source of natural vitamin C, but tastes very bitter! Will pay the extra for acerola powder next time!

This and Seven Hills acerola powder have both proven, conclusively, to be unbelievably effective in treating cold and flu. I've been using the camu camu lately, as the acerola shot up in price when I last checked. Both appear equally effective. If I feel a cold coming on, I take a good teaspoon of camu camu in the morning and one at night for 2 or 3 days. This seems to immediately stop the cold/flu in its tracks.. and sees it off by day 2 or 3. I've done this now about 5 times in the last couple of years and it's worked each time! If you suffer with regular colds, I would urge you to try this! I tell everyone about it!! Tastes pretty bad btw, but very small price to pay.

I have never tried Camu Camu before, however, the taste was not as bad as I thought it would be. Using this the same way as I make my Chlorella Powder...just with water, seems OK to me and you only need a tiny amount with how much Vitamin C is contained within. I have tried adding to food but you need to be careful there with your teeth, taste can be stronger if not mixed well into the food.

Really happy with my purchase, so have just bought another one for my parents. This a real powerhouse when it comes to vitamin C, according to Sevenhills website it has 30-60 times more Vit C than oranges! I purchased this for my whole family, although mostly thinking of my Son who is a really fussy eater, and as it's much better to get vitamins from food sources wherever possible this is perfect for him as it can be hidden easily in yogurt and smoothies. Although it doesn't taste bad (the powder on it's own) I can't taste the difference at all when its mixed in, unlike some other 'super foods' I've bought in the past which have been quite unpleasant and difficult to disguise! Certified organic by the Soil Assosciation. Haven't been using this long enough to comment on the benefits, however we'll be using it daily through the winter to help keep colds, bugs, etc at bay. I also use baobab, finnberry & Lucuma along with the Camu Camu powder, for their various nutritional content. Same as the Camu Camu alone, all of them together are really easily disguised too.

Pretty disappointed in this purchase to say the least. After using Vitamin C Powder for decades, I thought I’d try Camu Camu Instead for the next few months especially as I enjoy sour, tart flavours. I don’t know whether this product has passed its shelf like or what has occurred but it is not sour, bitter or tart. The powder tastes nothing like it’s described and is still somehow unbearable to swallow similar to trying to swallow yellow bile after vomiting too much! I don’t how other users have faired with this product in the last few weeks maybe theirs an issue with this particular batch. I’ll be returning to my usual Vitamin C Powder. It’s just a waste of a purchase as it’ll be impossible to get through 5-15g a day for the next 15 days, I’m regurgitating at the thought of trying.

Nous tenons là un produit de haute qualité vendu à un prix très compétitif. Sachez en effet que la plupart du temps le camu camu, vendu en pot de 50gr est généralement vendu aux alentours de 15 euros. Dans le cas du camu camu Sevenhills vous en aurez 5 fois plus pour un prix légèrement supérieur, mais compte tenu de la quantité ça reste extrêmement avantageux. Enfin pour ma part j'utilise le camu camu pour sa très teneur élevée en vitamine C hautement biodisponible. Je m'en sers d'ailleurs pour soigner actuellement une candidose ce qui s'avère très efficace pour ihniber une infestation à candida albican. Pour toutes les personnes qui souffrent de candidose je recommande vraiment ce produit, 1 cuillère à café deux fois par jour (une le matin, une autre en fin de journée) cela vous aidera beaucoup. Bien sur le goût est amer mais de ça on s'en fiche, ce que l'on recherche c'est de l'efficacité, à plus forte raison si le dit produit est utilisé à des fins thérapeutiques. Je recommande fortement le camu camu Sevenhills qui rempli parfaitement son office.

Ha un gusto acido e un po’ amaro. Però il buono è che è un’ottima fonte di vitamina c.

Wenn man das Pulver pur probiert, schmeckt es recht sauer - das hat mich doch etwas überrascht, ist aber auch ein untrügliches Zeichen, dass die Camu Camu offenbar einiges an Vitamin C enthält. Ich habe das Pulver in Fruchtshakes und auch grünen Smoothies verwendet, es rundet den Geschmack etwas ab und ist dabei keinesfalls "aufdringlich". Für mich war die Extraportion Vitamin C im Shake mehr als willkommen, ich bin vollkommen zufrieden mit dem Produkt

Hier werden nur reife Früchte verwendet, obwohl die unreifen deutlich mehr Vitamin C aufweisen. Dafür ist das VC aus unreifen Früchten weniger verfügbar. Das Pulver schmeckt säuerlich und vergeht mit einem bitteren Abgang jedoch auf natürliche Weise. Camu Camu ist eine sehr empfindliche Frucht, die bei der Verarbeitung viele Nährstoffe verliert. Bei anderen Anbietern wird meinen Recherchen nach der VC Gehalt ( vor allem bei Acerola) künstlich erhöht. Ich kenne für unsere Breiten kein natürlicheres Präparat! ABSOLUTER GEHEIMTIPP für Menschen, die sich naturbelassen wieder auffrischen lassen wollen!
