Maybe my expectations were too high, but the description implied this could so much more than it actually did. The bowl supplied restricts the toys movement to scooting around the circumference, pretty much no matter what angle you position the tail.Using the toy in the bath allows more freedom, but this is a device where the novelty wears off quickly.On the plus side, it worked reliably every time

Mermaid battery casing won't close so very disappointed 5 year old can't play with it. Left with a plastic bowl with some stickers on it.

Bought for my 4 year olds birthday she loved it but novelty value wore off fast she plays with the mermaid in the bath.....but watch for the tail getting ranged in girls hair if you do this x

Personally I found this item boring, however
Personally I found this item boring, however, my daughter loved it, for about a week. This is a fad toy that will soon be forgotten, but is much loved while in use.
