Are you tired of cut fingers?
Well after using scalpel blades for years of modelling and crafting and foolishly using my own hands to remove and replace these extremely sharp blades I finally decided to choose the much more desirable, and less "cutty/slashy" approach and get this handy little tool.I can confirm that it works with different size handles and blades and is a great way to remove spent or damaged blades from the handle before adding a new one. I use both a No3 and a No4 handle and this blade remover works with both. I would recommend using a pair of pliers to slide the new blade into position but I do still revert to the potential finger slicing manual approach myself, Oh when will I ever learn?

Works very well. Ideal for craft use if using scapel.
Easy to use old blade. Great if changing blades often.

Great for keeping used blades, but not strong enough to remove them
Great for keeping the blades safe that are used, but I haven’t found it strong enough to confidently remove the blade without getting stabbed. Maybe I am missing something but it came with no directions so you have to use your common sense. I use pliers to remove the blade and just slot it into the box

Makes removing blades easier & safer
Even blades I consider too blunt for use are still very sharp - removal is easy enough but then you are left with a blade to dispose of. I bought this more to have a container to keep used blades safely away, the fact it facilitates the removal of the blade is a bonus. If you are wary of removing blades this is a simple tool that takes the blade safely away from your fingers whilst removing it and then stores the blades (up to 100 - but I haven't tested that limit yet!) prior to disposal. If you wonder how to use it - Swann Morton have little youtube videos on their site and on youtube demonstrating how to use this device safely - have a quick watch to see if this will help you before buying. Personally I think it is worth it for safe storage of used, but still sharp, blades.
