Perfect for small applications
Great tool to have in the house to clean up small messes. Both wet and dry battery lasts quite a while and has quite good. Suction performance comes with a number of attachments and the charger mount is quite nice. Also reasonably priced compared to competition.

Sufficient for crumbs and small debris
This appliance was purchased to replace a 7.2V Dustbuster when the batteries wore out and failed to charge any longer. After charging for 24 hours the charge only lasted 30 seconds or so before petering out.It was bought online because Homebase (where the previous one came from) do not stock them any more, John Lewis had none, our local hardware store had only small, less powerful units, and other retailers had nothing suitable. It was therefore bought unseen but it fits the description very well.First of all a gripe. Why do manufacturers design their products so that it is impossible to replace the rechargeable batteries when they fail? We all know why.Despite all the claims from manufacturers like Black & Decker that they want to protect the environment, save the world’s resources and save energy, a perfectly good, but 6/7 years old, unit and its charger/transformer/bracket all had to be thrown away simply because the batteries cannot be replaced. A new battery would perhaps cost a few pounds (probably the makers would only pay pence for them?).Having said that, this unit does the job reasonably well. The suction is sufficient for its purposes of picking up crumbs and small debris. The hooks on the charger bracket look a bit flimsy so how long they will last remains to be seen. It can be screwed to the wall with plugs and screws provided.Although the specification does not say so, the box quotes the voltage as being 7.2V.A charger light to indicate when it is charging and when charging is completed would have been helpful. The tools come loose which is a pity whereas on the old unit they all clipped to the underside and so were constantly to hand. There is a brush, narrow crevice tool and a wet pick up nozzle. This unit has only just been bought and so I will update this post when I have used it a bit more and give my thoughts on performance and durability.Delivery was very prompt and it was undamaged.Update Feb 2019: More than 2 years later still working OK.

Not for carpet
Pros:-2) It’s small2) It’s lightweight3) Literal press to work button - so simple, a 2-yo could use it.4) no thrills - no muss, no fussCon:-1) You need to keep the button pressed for the duration of use so 8 mins to do a flight of stairs gives you hand cramps2) absolutely useless for carpet. It’ll pick up the big loose bits but it could not pick up a piece of thread from a very short carpet3) Would not work for pet hair or other fine particles.Overall:- would NOT recommend. Certainly not value for money Compared to other items that do the job better on multiple surfaces.

Great little Dust Buster
BLACK+DECKER 7.2 V Lithium-Ion Wet and Dry Cordless Dustbuster, 10.8 WGreat little dust buster for those pesky crumbs, especially when you have been naughty and had biscuits in bed!!!****Update****For those worried about battery life this was purchased in November 2017 and still going strong. Not stored on the charger as I think this is actually bad for the batteries. Used daily only for short bursts for removing crumbs from the bed as have breakfast in bed and it is great for removing toast crumbs. Leave on charge for a few hours once a week. To get the best out of this you need to clean the black sponge filter with another vacuum regularly as it soon clogs up. I can't believe how much it is now, it was only £24.99 in November 2017, it is now £49.99 in July 2020.Now the date is September 2023 and the batteries in it are showing signs of fatigue. They are not holding their charge for long. Price is now up to £51.99Luckily I am competent enough to replace the batteries, it needs two new Li 18650 batteries. Not easily replaced unless you have a battery spot welding tool. NEVER SOLDER ON BATTERIES, they can EXPLODE.

Low capability, poor quality, loud, not fit for purpose.
Consider before buying, as there are so many other, and better , options.I will start by stating that the strength and power of this dustbuster's vacuum is terrible. Despite it's boast of high voltage, it can barely remove basic food particles or objects. It is , paradoxicaly, so loud, that it renders it hilarious to use.The products build is cheap, plastic, with a detachable dust shaft that is sticky , when button to unlock is pressed. The filter sponge with the dustbuster, actively reduces the devices capability, but without it, the dustbuster spews dirt out of the dust shaft.I am genuinely regretting my purchase and intend to return this product.I do not recommend!Sincerely ,Gareth.

Bad
Poor suction, and has a tendency to spit the dust back out again, either from the intake after turning it off, or out the sides which lack adequate filtering.
