2 Way Gel Filled Connector Crimps - Packet of 50

Phone cable was damaged when a new door was fitted. Found the connections had been made with this type of crimp but they can only be used once. Found these which are a very effective way of joining the thin wires in phone cables. Just push the cut wires in and squeeze. the top down. No need to strip wires or for a special tool to push them into a connector.

Good value, worth the money

I have a Worx Landroid robot mower which occasionally manages to cut the boundary wire. Worx only supplied 2 connectors which was not enough, so I brought these. They are a lot smaller than the Worx ones which cost £13.99 for a pack of five or £2.80 each. These come in a pack of 50 for only £2.99 which is only 6p each, so I thought there must be a catch. The only problem is the boundary wire is slightly too thick to go fully into the holes, but I managed to remedy this by drilling each hole out slightly, which only takes a few seconds once I found the right size drill bit (2.5mm). The wire then fits perfectly. Being very small, the connectors can be buried in the ground more easily and seem to work well. Make sure you use a strong pair of pliers to fit the cap on so the metal bracket cuts into the plastic sleeve.

These crimps were suggested for joining phone wires and must say really pleased with ease of use. No need to trim the wire cover, just insert the two wires you want to join and press with pliers to secure. Delivery was really quick, couple of days quicker than expected so thank you.

They work fine but there’s not quite enough goo in them if using fine wires. Water ingress is possible.

Did the job, way better than the cheap chinese copies that are all over amazon at a lower price per unit. Genuine dex brand, same as bt uses. Only downside is no prime delivery so have to wait a few more days but for what you get absolutely worth a short wait.

No issues. Worked as expected

These dex gel crimp connectors are great. Very easy to use; you just put two wires (no need to strip ends) in the connector and use a standard pair of pliers to apply the crimp. Match those used by my telco and will come in useful for various tasks!
