A great fit !
I am pleased with this item. First time I wore it was a nice fit and when I took it off I had no issues like sweating or making on my head.

Comfortable and good stitching. Slightly small
I got these for running and using under my bike helmet, both for warmth, but also to eliminate wind noise while I listen to tunes. I put in ear buds and want something to reach past my ears on the sides and stop at my forehead in the front. While these do all of that and don't give any uncomfortable squeeze despite how much they stretch, they always creep up my head. When this happens they also slowly dislodge my earbuds.I don't have a massive dome: in most bike helmets I am a medium or large, never XL.I think if you are a small to medium sized head or if you are using this for more sedentary activities it works fine. The ability of these to stretch is impressive: they actually fit my 3 year old without being loose. I think if they were a little larger it would be a better fit for most adults.Update: stitching is holding up very well. both of my daughters like these caps. they don't generally cover my ears, but they are well made, increased to 4 stars.

comfortable liner
I'll agree with the general consensus I read in other reviews - it's comfortable enough that you'll forget you're wearing it. As far as warmth goes, I don't know that it's all that warm, but I wear it underneath another fleece beanie as it's been pretty cold lately, and this thing is exactly what the name implies - a liner, that's thin and comfortable enough to wear under another hat. I've got a bald head, so feeling seams from certain hats sometimes tend to bother me. I can fit just about any other headwear over this thing now to protect my noggin. As far as warmth goes...I'm not sure I'd say it's great (maybe if you're actively doing something like jogging) for freezing weather by itself, but again, wearing this under another fleece beanie has kept my head plenty warm this winter, and it's well worth the price.I almost forgot to mention, as far as fit...I bought one for each of my boys (7 and 11 yrs old) and they fit fine for each of us, and they wore theirs with no hats in the cold and had no complaints.

Lightweight and right fit, but too slippery to stay on during sleep
I wear a beanie to sleep in because I have very straight hair that's difficult to style the next day with bed hair without using hair gel. It's helped cut down on the time I spend in the morning styling my hair, I don't have to use hair gel anymore. It's working great. However, I purchased this as my old sleep beanies were getting worn out. As someone living in the deep south AND hot-natured, I can say this is lightweight, it's very thin, so getting overheated in this would probably only happen during the summer, if you wore it outside. The size is good for my larger head. Honestly, I found it to be a little long, at an awkward level where it was a little past my ear lobes, and yet not long enough to fold/roll up, I guess due to the tapered design. The biggest downfall though, is that during sleep it's such a slick material that there's nothing there to grip your head and so it just slides off over and over as you toss and turn at night. So unfortunately, my hunt continues.

Excellent layer
I’ve used these for a couple months now in the Minnesota fall and winter. In fall, I used it daily under my bike helmet going to work. I finally upgraded to a nice helmet this year that wouldn’t have me drenched in sweat in the summer, but quickly realized that meant the breeze was very cold as the temps dropped. This cut that breeze out and didn’t have any issues.Entering into winter, we had several days where the high was below zero Fahrenheit. I used one of these as an extra layer below my usual stocking cap for going out to shovel and go on walks, and it helped immensely to keep heat in.It’s comfortable and does its job. Wouldn’t hesitate to get them again, but they also show no wear, so probably won’t need to.

Too small
This is not for an adult, my 7 years old daughter loved it tho.

Too warm for summer
Would be great for 10 degrees Celcius and under but too thick for hot weather. I'm 7 7/8" hat size and it's on the small side but fits.

Fat fit under m/c helmet
I cannot wear this under my Shoei RF1100 full face motorcycle helmet. The head band is double thickness at the circumference. Will not work as advertised! I want to return it but I have to purchase a new return envelope at my expense even tho the shipping is free. It is such a hassle that I might just keep it for $16.35 purchase price.
