After delivery of this alarm I found it very easy to instal and operate. So far the adhesive has remained in place and still stuck well. I tried it out and found that the alarm was very loud. the remote control works from a decent distance along the hallway to set alarm and disarm. I myself am very pleased with this.

Thought this was ideal as we were going on holiday. Easy to fit, smart and reasonable in price. However half of the sensor fell off the door frame. The seller was fantastic and responded straight away. They are currently having new stronger pads manufactured to attach to doorframe. They gave me a partial refund to enable me to buy stronger pads as theirs are not yet ready. Brilliant!!

It works and is loud enough but it activates when there is only a small movement and I thought it would be ok to have a small gap so that I could place it between two hinged points.

The media could not be loaded.  This door house/shed alarm is of really good quality. It has many different functions including fully alarmed with a siren on entry. Or it can be used as a door chime as shown in the video. It also has a panic mode direct from the remote control. So this would also be perfect for an elderly person. It would also suit small businesses like shops and supermarkets, in door chime mode so you would know when a customer is coming into store. I personally have used this on my front door as a security measure. Also like a door chime feature. It comes with a very easy to use 4 button remote control. Which could go on a set of keys. It's easy to install to and cones with adhesive strips that are already cut to the shame and size. Simply peel off the backing tape and stick it on. There is a line on the main unit and the sensor so you know there in the right place. All round I'm really happy with this and it's great value for money.

What a load off cr#p! Spent an hour trying to set this up. Nothing connected at all.Went in the bin.Don't buy!

My mother has Alzheimer's Disease and a tendency to wander. To ensure she doesn't leave the home un-noticed we have alarms on the outside doors supplied by Social Services - but one door was overlooked so I fitted this door alarm to it.The alarm is simple to fit with no need for any tools or drilling. It adheres via sticky pads with the alarm fitted to the door or surround and the magnetic strip fitted opposite. As soon as the door is opened then the alarm sounds and it is loud enough to be heard within any room in a typical 4 bedroom home. When not required then a sliding switch on the alarm unit turns off the alarm.The alarm is very effective and reliable - and the alarm unit design is actually the same as those provided by Social Services which confirms it is a tried and tested, trusted design. This alarm also has the benefit of the remote control unit which allows the alarm to be armed, disarmed or to sound in the event of an emergency to attract attention.Of course, this door alarm has many more uses than for alerting to family members wandering but can alert to any door or window being opened so is an ideal security solution for the home, shed, garage or other outbuilding and works with sliding patio doors too.A CR2032 battery is supplied with the remote control unit but the required 2 x AAA batteries for the alarm unit are not included.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a fairly plasticky item but to be fair it works fine and consistently. Plenty loud enough too.I intended to fit it on the door of my Motorhome as an additional security device. The only problem is there is no first warning “chirp” after entry to remind you to unarm. It goes straight into the siren mode.It does have an off off switch so okay during the day going in and out.But I wouldn’t want to arm it on a campsite as if I’d forget to use the remote to turn it off on our return I don’t think the other pitches would be very happy with the siren blasting.So I used it on our garden shed instead which is quite vulnerable and it’s worked perfectly. No false activations and has been consistent.My only other gripe is it came without batteries, so had to find some .In summary it works as intended but would be better if it had an entry delay chirp.

I cannot get this to work when the door is opened
