Below is the text of my initial review. Shortly after I received unasked in the mail a replacement item and it works perfectly. So I have upgraded this review to four stars and thank the supplier for responding in this way.I wanted a connector to enable files I hold on a data stick to be connected into my ipad via a female USB and a male lightning connector. This item appears to be what I want but it simply doesn't work - my ipad won't recognise it. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I don't have time to trawl the net to find out and of course you can't phone Apple

Worked well but don’t buy
Worked perfectly but broke way too easily. It only worked through my iPad and not my phone but worked perfectly. As soon as I tried to stand my iPad up to go live on instagram, it snapped leaving the lightning adapter inside my iPad. It was only delivered about an hour ago (5pm broke at 6pm)
