UHPPOTE Touch Access Control Keypad with Wiegand 26-bit Interface Support 2000 Users for 125khz RFID Card

So have just installed and wired up to my garage. I have to say it looks great. Other reviews say the red flashing light is a pain however it kind of acts as a visual security aid. The cable supplied is very short and wouldn’t reach through the brick work meaning it had to be exstended , I would defiantly not recommended trying to exstend it by soldering. Instead use crimp gel connectors. Other than this it works a charm especially when you wire up a receiver and remote to The exit button cable meaning it Beeps when you use the remote and opens.

Like other reviewers, I'm a little annoyed that the flashing red light can't be turned off, but otherwise I'm happy with the product. It's been installed outside in the weather for over a year and has worked every time. The aluminium finish is starting to degrade a bit though. I have a small 12v transformer plugged in inside the garage which feeds power to the keypad and I have a pair of wires that run to the garage door opener. Pretty simple really. It allows me to get into the garage when I'm not carrying a pocket full of car keys. It does attract attention at night though with the bright blue light and flashing red light.

This keypad has solid construction and nice looks, but is let down by poor documentation and lack of configurability. Flashing red LED actually means system functioning (and can not be disabled). Blue backlight can not be disable either, nor the "beeps" it emits for keypresses. When used as a Wiegand controller, the keypad signals a contradictory "code failed" when the controller opens the door. No description of what the connection wires are supposed to do in different states - documentation is limited to a couple of wiring diagrams and some cursory programing instructions. This all might work ok if you happen to have exactly the configuration the manufacturer imagined. There is no way to contact customer support.
