Perfect for my requirements
I read about these Moisture Munchers on an underwater photography website so I bought them last year to try out. I have a Canon Powershot S95 digital camera and use it inside a RecSea aluminium housing for taking underwater photographs (very successfully I might add!). The inside of the housing has a recess which these fit into perfectly, so I have since bought several packs. I only scuba dive when on holiday, and its usually hot and humid wherever we go, so these are a god-send to keep the moisture out of the housing and prevent fogging of the lens/glass. Personally, I try to open my underwater housing only when in an air-conditioned room and I keep it open for as little time as possible - I never open it outside if I can help it. In my experience, a single one of these "munchers" will last me 4-5 days (you can tell when they are saturated because the colour goes from a nice blue to pink!). For me, they are good value because of that; I appreciate they would get saturated quicker if you leave them out or not in a sealed bag but I haven't tried that yet! I don't think they can be de-hydrated again so once one has gone pink, you throw it and move onto the next. There's 10 in the pack so they work out less than two pounds each...

Great product, a must have for your camera housings
Excellent product that do what they say on the packaging.I have one permanently in my camera housing to keep out the moisture. These even saved a friends camera after her case partially flooded in the first few days of a live aboard in egypt, just chucked a few in her case with the camera after the worst was dried out with tissue paper. They sucked up all of the remaining moisture saving the camera and allowing her to continue taking pictures and video for the rest of the trip.Easy to tell when they need replacing as they change colour. One of the items that you need to have, at a few pence each set against the cost of replacing your camera it is a no brainer.

Top item
Cracking item that does as it is advertised, you can fit the capsul into most torch/camera cases etc, my only complaint would be the price.

The best product I have ever used in my underwater camera ...
The best product I have ever used in my underwater camera housing (which isn't a sealife). Love the colour indicators as it takes guess work out of the equation, and ensures that you give your camera housing the best chance of not fogging up underwater

Save Your Expensive Equipment!
Although there are many types of moisture absorbers out there, I found these to work extremely well. You have nice camera equipment (camera, housing, strobe, video light, etc.) that all can trap moisture and severely damage your electronic equipment - even overnight. I like these moisture munchers as they are made of hard clear plastic with the ends open to air circulation. The material inside will absorb any moisture in your electronic device and keep it dry, even for long periods of time. If you own an underwater camera, these inexpensive moisture munchers are critical to own. Simply place one in your device after you are done using it or when you are going to place it in storage. The munchers will change color when it no longer is useful. There is just no reason to risk damaging your valuable equipment when these inexpensive and useful munchers can be used.
