Adding this helped lowering the noise of heavy bag when I kicked it. It minimized the vibrations which in turn lowered the creaking noises. This is a great, simple accessory to every heavy bag setup.

worked as expected. The open feel a little dangerous if a person we’re going to use metal to metal as their interface. I would wonder if with a lot of dynamic movement you might have a chain come loose. I used short pieces of webbing and a hitch to connect them as I hung up my hundred pound bag, so the weight of the bag is always tightening the knot. Other than that spring is great for 100 pounds probably more.

Great spring at a great price. What more can I say than ... it works. It holds my 80lb heavy bag with no issues at all. It can easily hold more. At this price (~$10), it's a great deal. Recommended.

This spring is terrible. I just noticed that the spring was broken right in the plastic bag it came in.

We ordered this to replace the spring on our heavy bag. Our old one had stretched quite a bit. This spring is almost an exact match for the brand name spring we previously used - it hangs well and I’ll update this review after a while to confirm it holds up to frequent use.

Spring feels of decent quality. I only have one complaint which is the one end of spring is jagged and unfinished. If the bag is not hung with chain, you could have issue with possible cutting straps or even cutting oneself while hanging bag.

Thought this would work for my setup but the hook opening is too tight to go over what I needed to hang the spring from. There was no give to make it open up enough to force it on so i would work. It is heavy duty and well made otherwise.
