I purchased this drain cover and I was very pleased because I can see the result I don't need to worry about leaves falling off and different kind of trash and some stones. Fit on my drain, sturdiness, quality is perfrct, functionality for drain.

This stainless steel cover is perfect stops rubbish going down into drains. Lightweight so is easy to pick up to clean. It looks neat and tidy.

Perfect fit good value

These stainless steel guards are designed to prevent leaves and other detritus entering your drains. All of my drains were already fitted with plastic guards that prevented any leaves going down, but I would periodically discover frogs had fallen through the holes and become trapped in the drain. Rescuing the frogs required removal of the plastic cover and then manipulating a net into the drain to fish them out. Whilst I didn't mind checking the drains and performing a rescue mission as needed, I wanted to find a solution and these have proven to be it.The guards are 15cm square and have a series of holes cut into the top that allow water to enter the drain whilst stopping most other things going down. The only installation required is to slide the guard into position under the down pipe, although that also means that there is nothing to hold it in place, but it is heavy enough that the wind should not shift it. They come in a pack of two and offer a very discreet solution to stopping leaves and other detritus (and frogs) from falling into your drains. Whilst not an obvious 'wow' product, the guards have been noticed by quite a few people and much admired, without exception.Update August 2011Mine have been in place for around 18 months and still look as good as they did when first installed. There is no sign of any rust or other discolouration and they have stayed put during an awful lot of bad weather including weeks of snow and ice. Surprisingly, everyone that has seen them has commented about how good they look - even the chap from the local garden centre whilst making a delivery!
