KILL THE LOGS
If you like swinging an axe like a man then this one is for you. Well made and heavy enough to even split the wood not ready to split. Take out your aggression on those poor green logs looking at you like you can't!

Great maul but possibly too heavy for some.
This is a great maul for splitting. It is heavy which might be an issue for some but the added weight really helps on those hard to split logs.

This thing is a beast
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Needed to chop some roots, and I trust the brand. Weight: HEAVY!!!!! Head looseness: Feels pretty solid to me Dullness: SUPER SHARP Build quality: Superb Value for money: This thing did exactly what I needed it to do ... and it chopped through 1½" roots in one blow. Incredible. Worth every penny

Gets the job done!
I’m pretty happy with it overall other than the fact that if you overstrike it’s going to tear the hell out of the rubber under the head. Not a big deal, it still performs. Not a total 5 stars

its a beast! but protect the handle from splintering just under the head
This things a beast maul. it will man handle and go through almost any wood as long as you have the force. The only obvious caveat it to Be sure to take an empty plastic water bottle and slit it down one side, so it slides around the handle just under the head, duct tape around and around the bottle wrapping the bottle tightly to the handle . This protects the fiberglass handle just under the head at that spot so it doesn't fray and chip when it gets hit against the wood while chopping.
