I bought two of these lights and after a five months for one and ten months for the other, the switch to turn it on and off failed completely. The seller would not honor the 1-yr warranty, and Amazon would not honor it either. Ultimately Amazon made it up to us by helping with credits, but only after many calls trying to work this out and chasing down the warranty leads. The manufacturer does offer a warranty it says but that is only if you buy directly from their website. The seller was responsive, but would not honor the warranty, offering us $50 instead for the $200 worth of failed light we had bought. Overall, this is just not even close to being a high quality product, although the light works well enough and even good until the product fails. It has a cheap plasticky feel that does not seem well engineered. I suspect something melted on at the switch to make it stop working as the heat dissipation considerations were probably under-engineered. We only used the lights a few hours a day, a few days a week in a controlled indoor environment and never dropped them--I have a feeling they would not survive being dropped well at all. We were able to find much higher quality lights for about 40% more to replace these with and they have more solid features for mounting, tilting and all.

I’m shooting some of my hand make staffs and share on youtube, so I need some lights to work with my softbox, this YN600Air seems work nice for me so far, it’s 3200-5500K adjustable, and very portable, and the more surprise part is it came with an power adapter, that I don’t need to source for extra battery like before, very cool and budget friendly.

I really liked this light, and used it for about 3 2-hour sessions every week for about 6 months. But something melted in the power switch and it became inoperable!
