They are shrimps, dried and a range of sizes. My wife reached for these mistakenly thinking they were flakes. When she opened the tub, she squealed like a teenager and dropped them all over the floor of my shed. In summary, these are great for pond fish but an absolute swine to dig out from the shed floor.

Worth persevering
Was very disappointed at first when my goldfish totally ignored the shrimps I put into my outdoor pond but over a few weeks I added a few to their usual flakes daily and they seem to be eating them now.
