Manuka honey to soothe a sore throat
Much has been made in recent years of the near-mythical properties of manuka honey, so I was very interested to see this little spray bottle designed to help with sore throats, sinus infections and similar. I am very prone to the above though have not been hit hard yet this winter so perhaps not in the best position to judge its full efficacy. It taste of honey, though with a slight aftertaste that strangely reminded me of artificial sweeteners, though not at all unpleasant. You spray it into the back of the throat, 2 squirts every 3 hours, and at this rate it will last for approximately 83 doses. I haven’t used it nearly so much as, like I say, I have not been hit hard with any sore throats yet this winter (touch wood). There have been a couple of occasions when I felt like I might have a sore throat coming on, and I have used this, and nothing more has come of it, so perhaps it’s just that good! At £19.99 at time of writing, it’s not cheap - manuka honey never is! - but it’s a pleasant way to take your medicine, portable to take anywhere, and the various benefits have been proven. I’d certainly rather take this than various other cold remedies from the chemist.

Sounds great but I didn't like the taste
When I read what this was for I thought, I definitely need to try this. I very often have a dry cough which ends up giving me a dry, irrated and sometimes sore throat. I've only tried it once and because I didn't like the taste, I have not being able to bring myself to try it again. The taste lingers for so long was making me gip alittle. I have heard good reviews about it's effectiveness so I may give it another chance soon.

Natural and highly effective throat sprays for colds!
I must say that I am very happy with this propolis spray by Plantonin. I was not hoping for much, but I got better than I had hoped for. It worked a treat. I admit that I thought it would take ages if at all to work. But after the first two goes I felt much better.I don't think it tastes too bad, but that didn't matter. All that does matter is the fact that after 5 days of pain and being unable to eat because it hurt to swallow, I am now pain free. It took 2 days for the pain to completely go, but I did feel it getting better after just the first sprays. I can say that the use by date was 2021, so that was a bonus. It came the very next day so that was brilliant. The addition of manuka honey infused in this spray really sets it apart from competitors and has made a huge difference in the soreness of my throat!I will be buying more when this one runs out, but as I have plenty left that may be a while. I highly recommend this product to all. It was cheep too!!! Happy days!!!Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

A good little spray
I love bee propolis products so I didn’t hesitate to order this Plantonin bee propolis throat spray when I had a sore throat.Unfortunately, it took so long to arrive that my throat was back to normal when I received it so I can’t say how well it works. Propolis is antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antifungal so it makes more sense to use this spray to tackle the problem rather than a conventional throat spray that just numbs the area.

Easy to use, and effective. Would recommend!
This spray comes at the perfect timing as my son was having a sore throat and coughing the last two weeks. He tried this and he said it gave him a great relief from the painful throat just after a few uses. His coughing has also stopped now. It’s easy to take, and since it’s small and portable, it doesn't take a lot of space in the handbag, or even in the pocket. My son put this in his Jean’s pocket and took it everywhere with him.I gave it a try and it is very nice with a deep flavour of raw manuka honey, a similar taste from the one I bought from Holland Barret with a very high MGO rating. This throat spray is made from a mixture of a pure and concentrated bee propolis and manuka honey. It retails at £19.99 (at the time of writing) for a small 20 ml bottle, which may seem quite expensive. However, it’s effective, it cleared my son’s bad sore throat in a matter of days, therefore, I think it is worth every penny. Would easily recommend it.

Sooths Sore Throat. Minty, Slightly Sweet Taste. Contains Sucralose.
I've used propolis in the past in capsule form.Until now, I was not aware that they had it in a topical form like this.I have a respiratory tract infection and this spray is definitely soothing the sore throat I have.It is minty amd slightly sweet to the taste.I don't like that it has sucralose in the ingredients, though!Every man-made chemical, including sucralose, begins with a natural substance, which is then altered in the laboratory to change the chemical structure, thus changing its properties. But then it is no longer a natural substance.Xylitol would be a MUCH better, completely natural alternative. And xylitol directly kills off bad bacteria and also alkalizes the mouth, making it more resistant to infections. So it would actually add to the antiseptic properties of the spray, as well as naturally sweeten it, without any funky aftertaste.

Sucralose? Why!!!
I agree with another reviewer, Xylitol would be a much better option here. I'm saving this for a rainy (sick) day...and now am really disappointed as I'm super sensitive to these chemical sweeteners. The last time I ever had and ever will drink diet coke was sharing one with my mom against my better judgment at the movie theater when Dreamgirls came out with Beyonce during the holidays in 2006. That fake chalky aspartame "sweetness" got stuck in the back of my throat (ironically, as this is a throat spray) and within a day my body mounted an attack on that persistent little spot of chemical neurotoxin and I got sick. I felt the direct connection, and now cannot believe this pure propolis is contaminated by Splenda. Disappointing.

Interesting throat spray. Effective temporary relief.
This Plantonin - Bee Propolis Throat Spray aerosol is surprisingly small. Handy to carry around or pack for a trip.I had a bit of a scratchy throat in the morning and tried the 2 sprays as instructed. It is quite awkward to try to aim the spray into the back of the throat without spraying onto the tongue. It has a strong taste with the sweetness of the honey, it only takes a swallow to go away quickly.By mid-morning, I realized that my throat felt better. Although I need to administer it again a few hours later for relief (which is expected), I felt good using this knowing that this is more natural and has the Manuka honey. Only wish the spray nozzle can be improved.

Helps soothes sore throat
I got this for me and my family because it seems like one of us always has a sore throat lol. I had a itchy throat the other morning and remembered I had this and gave it a try. I don’t like the taste much but I didn’t figure I would anyway lol. Even though I’m not crazy about the taste it seemed to help my itchy throat because I stopped coughing after spraying it once or twice in my throat. I also like that it’s a small size so it’s easy to put in your purse and take on the go. This does contain bee allergens so make sure your not allergic to bees before using. I would definitely purchase this again!! Would Recommend!!

Soothing
Sore throats are a drag. Salt water gargles are the go-to, but those aren't available when you're out and about. I usually take along the red name brand throat spray. It tastes dreadful, but it does help. An alternative like this throat spray is most welcome. This spray is not at all medicinal smelling or tasting like the name brand throat spray. Instead you get some slight sweetness and a soothing coating of the bee propolis and honey. One spritz really helped a scratchy throat. This spray is also nice and compact, so great for sticking in your purse or pocket when on the go.
