The product is exactly as described—very lightweight and easy to fold or expand. However, mine arrived missing the Velcro strap used to keep it secured when folded. It’s a great product otherwise.

I've had these for 5 or 6 months and so far they are holding up very well. I really loved my old aluminum BD Distance Z trekking poles but after about 10 years of steady use, I accidentally left them in a parking lot. I decided to try the 115cm carbon, which is a better height for me anyhow. I love the lighter weight, and while I fear they may be a little more fragile, they are serving me well. I do take care that people don't throw their heavy packs on top of them, just in case.
