RTU Evaporator Cleaner & Disinfectant, Indoor AC Cleaner, Aircon Cleaner, fan

Got a 12 year old split system making me feel ill through that wet sock moldy smell. Stripped it down, took the drum fan out and gave the exaporator a good going over with this stuff, seems to have worked a treat.Make sure you wear goggles, gloves and do not get any of this on your skin, as it really irritates! I would also rinse the evaporator afterwards with water after leaving it on for a good while. You should also invest in a proper water catch bag around the wall unit to collect any run off liquid and to help throughly rinse the evaporator coil. Same company also do a biocide tablet to leave in the condensate tray to prevent further gunge building up there. Worth using I think.

This stuff works wonders my air conditioner used to give out a mould/mildew smell when not cooling and it was so horrible. I brought the RTU Evaporator cleaner followed the instructions sprayed into the evaporator left it to sit for 5 minutes then rinsed with water at first after the treatment was complete the air conditioner was giving off a distinct smell of chemicals from the cleaner. To solve this i left my air conditioner on high speed fan mode and in the morning the chemical smell was gone. The air coming out of the air conditioner was completely clear with no more chemical smell. A tip for anyone planning to use this stuff make sure to have the sprayer on a straight stream rather than a mist as this will allow you to get into all the evaporator fins clearing any mould. At first i used the cleaner with the sprayer on mist and it did not really get into the fins which is no fault of the product. REALLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Last year, the portable AC unit I keep in my room started to release the smell of urine, only for a few minutes after starting, and it'd also give me hayfever symptoms when running (pollen? fungus? I don't know). This summer, I took my AC unit into the garden and thoroughly sprayed this RTU cleaner between every blade of the aircon before giving it a very thorough rinse with the garden hose. Used up most of the can though I probably could've saved half. Anyway, the smell is completely gone and I don't get a runny nose when it's running anymore. It's been running clean for 2 months now and hopefully it stays this way.

My aircon used to have some bad smells while it's not cooling(after reached temperature motor shut off), this product fixes the problem and clean up the evaporator as well, which I would recommend for everyone, especially summer is coming you might want a better cooling performance.FYI I wear gloves and protective goggles since this cleaner are a bit corrosive (that’s why it clean the air conditioner up), I sprayed water to wash the evaporator up after 30mins with the cleaning sprayed.
