Perfect for travellers! (or anyone who needs a longer lasting battery)
This item arrived extremely fast, with absolutely pristine packaging. The battery itself rivals those of Nikons own, in terms of battery life and speed. I purchased this item with the aim to take it to South Africa with me on a 2 week Safari / Village Charity visit, as I wasn't convinced that just one original Nikon Battery would be enough, and I was completely right! The Nikon battery lasted 4 days - just enough to cover my footage from the Safari, yet before I even arrived at the village the battery had died. A quick swap to the Duracell Battery showed a significant improvement and actually proved to last 8 days with almost constant usage! Thats almost double the amount of shooting time that the Nikon Battery allowed. I was astounded! I would definitely highly recommend this product. Couldn't be happier! (p.s. I've attached a photo of the safari if anyone was interested!)

Good buy
Got this battery to back up the original one in my canon sureshot camera. Third of the price of the Canon battery so have to say it’s a bargain

Get one for your camera bag......
Cheaper than the original, but be warned, has a lower power capacity too.A trade off I can live with as the battery appears to be well made, fits the original charger, slips easily in and out of the camera body and so far, has been a more than acceptable backup battery when out at day long events without access to mains power. Will likely buy some more.

In use in a Canon SX240 HS
Some numbers for you. Ordered from MyMemory August 7th, dispatched from Switzerland August 8th, arrived UK August 12th. For comparison, a cheaper version from a different supplier never arrived at all.Voltage on arrival 3.81, after charging to charger shutdown 4.13, and after running 'flat' according to the camera software 3.59. Its second charge took it back to 4.13. There IS a bit of a difference between those figures and the Canon original battery ('flat' at 3.34, charged at 4.14) and the Canon battery does seem to keep going longer, but then it has a higher rating. This might improve over a few charges, I suppose, but I'm not holding my breath. The Duracell battery took 65 stills and one minute of video on its first charge. The Canon battery has been charged three times, is in the camera now, has taken 67 pictures so far on this use, and the camera is still showing "battery full". The battery meter tends to show full for ages, then fall off quickly. Conclusion 1: this battery lives up to its specification and performs as expected. Conclusion 2: the camera specification is deliberately misleading. Canon claim battery life of 230 shots, which is absurdly optimistic. Most reviews of the camera mention this. If you get less from your batteries than you expect, it might not be the batteries' fault.

It's Duracell
Had this for a good few years now for a Canon SX700 HS, and it's still as strong as the original at a lower price, highly recommend !

It works and is a fraction of the cost
I can't honestly say if it lasts as long as the original as i never ran the original flat; but so far it performs well. It was a cost effective solution when the original died

Duracell Replacement Battery
The original Canon batteries that came with my digital camera did not last five minutes. I was continually changing batteries every thirty or forty shots, which was patently ridiculous. Bran new replacement original Canon batteries had exactly the same problem. I tried Duracell batteries, which were half the price of the Canon batteries, only to discover to my delight that a battery lasts for three or four hundred photos, dependant upon how much the flash and the zoom lens is utilised, and how often photos are reviewed on the camera screen (one of the heaviest uses of batteries on most digital cameras, particularly those with larger screens). I do not normally advise using anything other than the manufacturers original parts, as I have, no doubt like many other people, run into difficulties, and an apparently cheap option has proved far more expensive and troublesome. However, in this instance go for the Duracell NB-6L, not the Canon batteries. I suggest Canon do something about sorting the life of the batteries that they supply out. I have followed all their advice about ensuring I only use batteries which are freshly charged as I am aware some types of battery lose power over a period of time.
