Average Magnetic Board
For the price, it is an average magnetic board. Our 2 year old and 4 year old had a hard time picking up the pieces as they are thinner and not thick for small fingers and developing motor skills. I felt the magnet on the back didn't have quite the "stick" to the magnetized surface that it should have. There are lots of small pieces and the hands and feet of the board figures are abstract -- circles and squares, which does teach shapes, but if you're looking for actual figures and farm animals, this does not have legs and tails. The lid does not lock or latch on, either, so the pieces are easily dumped out in the toy bin.

Compact and Portable
3 yr old granddaughter loves it as she likes drawing, so the magnetic/dry erase side is great. Chalkboard side is ok, but chalk is very light. Erases very well though. Not so crazy about the little magnetic pieces that come with it, but we already had a lot of letters to use that work just as well. And I purchased dry erase markers to use with it.

ok
cute and has many uses but when you prop up the easel it falls over easily. I still kept it. we use it but lay down the white board.

Tiny Pieces, Overall cute
Overall, itโs very cute, but there are quite a few tiny pieces for the magnets do not great for under 3. Love the flip-flop between chalkboard and whiteboard/magnet board though!

Some of the pieces are defective
This is a very cute item. However, alot of the pieces don't have the magnets on the back which made for a very upset grandson who does not understand why they are not sticking.

Small pieces suck
Beware of all the small pieces! We have already lost half of them.
