Great mount for the price
I had a shoot in NY - I was in FL. With gear in both locations I thought I was all set and while in flight I found out we were missing a mount for a shotgun mic. With 2 days before our main interviews I had to move fast and this little item was on prime. So... A chance I took. We won that gamble - the little beauty worked great. A simple, cheap fix for an important need. There was no significant difference between it and a unit 5x it's price. Saved me a rental at a G&E company.

Great for small desktop mics like the Samson Meteor
I bought this to isolate my Samson Meteor desktop mic by screwing in the foam grip this comes with and sticking it through the shock mount. It works perfectly.

Works as well as the expensive ones
It holds my Senheiser in isolation as well as the big name brands. I use it mounted on my Nikon DSLR and hand-held. The supplied o-rings may not be of the highest quality as one broke right away. I suggest buying spares at the hardware store and replacing the supplied ones. The build quality is sturdy and the handle is a plus. This is a good buy for the price.

Mount is good. Accessories are very bad.
The actual mount that holds the Mic is very much worth the money. It works very well at eliminating movement noise. However, the handle doesn't fit the mount at all. I was unable to attach it in any way. So that part is a complete waste. And the shoe mount comes loose very easily. I am still able to use it if I turn the o rings very hard, but there's always the risk of it coming undone while I'm shooting. However, the mount seems to work very well on a boom pole.

cheap quality, ok for the money only the hot shoe mount is useless
Just got it. Seems like a cheap materiel, had a similar thing that gave way after one year working out in the field on doco shoots. I didn't really expect much more for that price but I did think the hot shoe mount will be useful. Well, its not. You will not be able to lock it securely no matter what. They put it here for the photo and to make a sale I think, but nothing more.

Whether you are needing a very nice shock mount, or a perfecting sized and quiet one hand hold, or just the extremely useful adapters, you can not go wrong with this combination.

Yep...it works. However, it really depends on you microphone.
