Works better than name brand material
My physical therapist advised buying the Scar Away to use on my scar from hand surgery, which I did. It does its job - the scar is much smoother and less pronounced when the scar sheet is worn. When I saw how quickly I would go through the number in the package, I wanted to try this more generic version for a lower cost. I found that the less expensive material is actually better. It comes in a large roll with some pre-defined division lines. It just so happens that if I cut off squares based on those faint lines, then cut that in half lengthwise, it is exactly what I need for my hand scar. An advantage of this material over the name brand is that the adhesive on this is stronger, so the strips stay on my skin much better. Note that they say one strip can stay on up to 10 days, but I doubt it will last that long, at least not on your hand. It will last at least until your next shower or bath. It can stand several hand washings during a day however without a problem. If you do a quick shower, it can last through that too. I do find that it will snag on objects (again, hard to avoid that on your hand), such as a stair bannister or a steering wheel. So, what I did is to buy some "disposable" cotton gloves, cut off the finger tips, and put that on my hand when I'm handling things. The cotton covers the scar sheet so it can't snag on things. Each cotton glove only costs 30 cents, so when it gets dirty or worn (~1-2 days) I throw it out and make a new one.

Love that it's customizable length
I bought this because not only do I have an old c-section scar but I recently had a procedure on my arm and wanted to make sure I minimized the scarring of that. This works great. I already notice a difference in the scar tissue. It's much flatter and less visible. The adhesive works great, even if it gets wet.

Works Perfectly for Mouth Tape to Prevent Dry Mouth While Sleeping
For some reason the transparent silicone scar sheets works better than any other type of scar sheet I have tried for the purpose of keeping my mouth closed while sleeping in order to prevent dry mouth. I've tried MANY other types of mouth tape and scar sheets and even medical tape, but this is the clear winner for my purpose. It handles more easily when peeling the actual tape away from the tape support base and it doesn't easily turn a corner over onto itself. I just wish it was cheaper, but this is the one I will have to purchase for the last few years of my life as I'm in my 60s now and it won't be long before I transform into another type of energy... or whatever... maybe I'll become a rock formation or a pebble or a raindrop or a bacterium or just an oxygen or hydrogen atom... who knows?

Good for post breast reduction
Very comfortable But waiting for some real difference in the color of my scars (maybe this isn’t the best product). My scars have reduced in height. Wish they lasted longer in the shower.I use this post breast reduction

Works well, but don’t use the clear one
I like this because it has a better grip and protection against sweat as compared to mederna strips. However the clear just looks like medical tape and you get the same grey fuzz buildup around the edges that you do with a bandaid. With the clear tape it actually makes it more obvious. The natural one works well, but because it is so lightweight, it bends and wrinkles easily. I had someone comment about the packing tape on my neck. Lol. I use this one for day to day and the heavier, smoother maderna one when I’m dressed up.

Can be used instead of stitches (sometimes)
I’ve used this a few times to pull skin together and hold it instead of getting stitches (which can be traumatic for little kids) for small gashes. Best to have a tiny hole/slit right over the wound to allow fluids to evaporate and not get trapped under the sticky part. (Fluid underneath will make it not stick well) My son also reacts to the sticky part of bandages, but this doesn’t seem to bother him.Obviously clean the wound, and watch for infection. You have to pull it together to make sure both sides of the gash are touching—no gaps! If you can’t hold closed, you’ll need stitches for sure.

Bought so tummy tuck and breast lift
I really dont know what to think about this tape. I cut it in half length wise because my scars are no thick. Was easy to handle, easy to cut easy to apply. The down side to me is not reusable. And when I did leave it on all day my spot that weren't completely healed turned a yellowish which scared the crap outta me. I rather just use a gel.

Amazing for post surgery scar
Used this product on my 15 year old kid - post 8 weeks of wrist surgery - Scar about 2.5 inches long and definitely see suture line reduced in size and looks great! Worth it!No smell, No sickness. Cuts at as small as 1/2 inch with scissors or has perforated lining about 2in long for easy cutting without scissors.Perfect amount of thickness but feels like a thin flexible soft gel tape. Definitely doesn’t come off in shower. Peel off is easy with no redness. Recommended for anyone post surgical scars about 8 weeks out or completely healed.
