Schmincke - HORADAM® AQUARELL 12 Half Pans - Standard and Super Granulating Colors - and da Vinci Brush, 74630097, Metal Box, Painting Set, 12 x 1/2 Pans

Everything's great, fantastic colors, quite expensive, but definitely recommended. It would be cool if the black cans were also available in colors with attractive designs.

These are the Schmidke half pen, watercolor, paints, boy did this change my watercolor game. The colors are so beautiful and vibrant and so easy to mix it I can describe to you how much of a difference it made going to this nicer, watercolor, paint. I have tried Daniel Smith I have tried white nights, and I have tried Holbein as well as Romans small. These paints surpass all of them I would probably put Roman small next to them over the other ones, but they are amazing paints, and well worth the money.

I’m a Schminke Horadam watercolor paint fan - they’re deliciously creamy and easy to work with. And this small pallet comes with the addition of their supergranulation line that believe me, if you haven’t tried them already, you’re going to want to try them out in this set. The watercolor pallet was sealed from the factory when I opened it — and it didn’t have the da Vinci brush that it was supposed to have come with. The seller *immediately* sent a brush to replace the absent one from the set, even tho it wasn’t their fault for the mistake. I’d definitely buy from them again - and I have. Five Stars

This small set includes one yellow, two reds, two blues, one green, white, yellow ochre, black, and three of Schmincke's best super granulating colors. My only quibble is the white, which is pretty worthless in watercolor-I would have preferred another neutral like burnt Sienna. I'm docking it a star for that, as in a palette this small, every pan is important, and I will have to buy an earth color to replace the white. Some say the same about black, but black is more useful, especially for urban sketching. Otherwise this is a fun, versatile and portable palette of mixing colors, and the super granulating pigments are fabulous. *The bonus is the Da Vinci brush-just a small synthetic but Da Vinci makes wonderful brushes!*

I loved that this set has some beautiful colors including a few ultra granulating colors o was excited to try out. It was was my first paint I choose to buy from Schmincke. I have since expanded my collection of tubes, but this was and excellent set to get to to try out and fall in love with Sckmincke!

Beautiful paints, almost too pretty to swatch. Great colors plus the granulating colors make this set extra special. Great price for the set. Box seems nice as well, no trouble with sharp edges as I've read about on other sets. Very happy!

I love everything about this set; the color selection, traveling size, and quality of the paints!
