GREAT MACHINE, GOOD VALUE AND WORKS WELL - SO EASY TO USE.
I wish I had bought this Fellowes 30 Office Thermal Binding Machine sooner. Great to keep on top of your paper filing system. Various book binding cover sizes/thicknesses are available to for binding your documents. I have reduced storage size of documents from lever arch files considerably. The machine is so easy to use, it comes with simple to follow instructions. It literally takes just seconds to bind a thin book, and a minute or so for to bind a thicker book. It well and truly binds the documents and the end result is so professional. Good well known branded make (FELLOWES) and I would certainly recommend its purchase.

Perfect for office use
After much research, purchased the Fellowes Helios 60 Thermal Binder - very impressed. Good product at a good price, can spend more but for our use (binding accounts and presentations), I did not believe we would achieve any real benefit by doing this. So far, after a few weeks use, we have a huge time saving 'v' comb binding as it's really quick & easy to use. If you are looking for a professional quality finish, don't skip on the quality of your binding covers and try out different spine widths. We tried some 'lower end market' PVC fronted covers which we had knocking around and they don't cope with the heat, the end result is not good. Would suggest talking to Binding Supplies.co.uk & discuss your cover requirements, they are really helpful & we've ended up with a fantastic quality product for our business.

Wrong plug
Perhaps unbelievably, given reviewers were raising this as an issue over a year ago, the Helios thermal binder arrived with a European plug unsuitable for the UK. Beware, their technical support line closes at 14:30 and the message service they recommend you use is not working or malfunctioning.

Proper Job
An amazingly easy machine to use.It has a well built, chunky feel to it, with a design into which a lot of thought has been expended. If I can use it, so can anyone.Just pop the binder filled with paper into the slot, wait a few seconds, and you get a nice, properly bonded folder.A quality piece of kit which I'm glad I bought.I know there are people who are never satisfied and always find something to pick at, but this machine hits the spot for me.Proper job.

Could not use...
Ordered this product twice now and on both occasions it came with a European 2 pin round plug. Unable to use. Very disappointed.

Easy to use and does the job well
We already have a Fellowes laminator and ring binder in the office and they are very good quality machines. I'm pleased to say that this Fellowes thermal binding machine is just as well made and does the job well. Heating binding documents gives a very professional look. It's very easy to use. Turn it on, select the thickness of documents to be bound, put them, press start and then wait for the beep to take them out.

Dissertation Binding
I bought this thermal binder with a few friends so that we could bind our dissertations without the extra worry of the university print shop being busy on submission day.The dissertations were between 80 and 120 pages and came out very well (although I imagine the results largely depend on the type of thermal binding cover used; we used some bought from a company called JFK Binding Supplies Ltd). The product has a rough guide on it for the size of cover required and directions relating to the setting to use for each size of binding cover. It is very easy to operate and feels solid. It takes less than five minutes to line up a document in the cover, choose a setting, and heat it, followed by a further 15minutes for the document to cool completely in the built-in rack on the back.No regrets at all, if the price wasn't so high (£77.87 at the time) I would have given it five stars.
