Sturdy engine lock. Works well. Easy to use.
Seems sturdy enough. Easy to use.If a thief really wants your engine, he will take it. But it might just be enough to put off an opportunist thief.

What a relief
Engine stolen last year so bought this to fit my 'new' engine and give some peace of mind. Fits my mercury 10HP perfectly. Phew

Picture doesn’t match the product
Specifically ordered this one because the shop images showed a radial key … however what arrived was a standard key / lock which as we know seizes and are easy to pick. Not as secure as I’d hoped. Also the traditional locks seize and its difficult / impossible to insert the key (reason our last lock failed and we went in search of a radial lock)

Lock not as described
Exactly the same issue that various other buyers have faced, the lock as described in the picture and description is not what is delivered. A very poor quality flat lock is what you will receive.0 stars if I could.

Does the job.
Use to fret when leaving the boat when stopping for dinner after fishing. Leaving it behind the establishment in the dark gave me concern. Not anymore, went on easily and protects it well. Highly recommend.
