The delivery was prompt and items arrived as advertised. I noticed one review said sponges didn't grow. I made similar mistake as the description is a bit misleading. I opened a bean and carefully pulled out one see creature, dropped it in the water waiting for a miracle... nothing happened, it did not grow.In fact, you need to drop the whole capsule in warm water. The coating is made of material that dissolves in water. The shapes then spread and look as if they 'grow'.2.5-year old girl was not too impressed. Perhaps she might like it more when she is a bit older.However, I must say, this is a good option as a small gift or party bag filler.It also adds some novelty to bath time.Sponges themselves do stick to tiles or the tub, bit only when wet.I am also concerned about the coating of the beans, although it dissolves in water, I don't know what materials it is made of. Plus some residue can be seen in water after that.

The bath beans were, in fact, put in our granddaughter's paddling pool and she loved them and made up stories about each character. (She is 6 years of age). We ordered the sea creatures first and as they were so popular, we then ordered the dinosaurs. A real surprise and great fun.

I think they're a bit expensive for the price I paid, £3.99. The sponges are thin and not huge. However, my children enjoyed watching them unfold and are still playing with them in the bath.

My kids have had these as a stocking filler for the last 2 years. They love them and play with the sponges for ages after the first bath when they are still beans!

Bought as a party bag filler. All the children loved them and the novelty value was brilliant. Sponges are a little flimsy though.

not very dramatic but cute

I bought these Bath beans for my two nieces for an extra little christmas present. They were so excited and couldn't wait until bath time. The had delight in shouting down the stairs "it's a fairy....and a whale". The kids had a great time watching the beans form into the little sponge characters and it made bathtime a bit more fun! Would definately recommend them!
