I wasn't sure these would be genuine plated copper as some cheap ferrules are made of aluminum which would not be acceptable for my application due to higher electrical resistance. After scraping away the plating I can confirm that these are indeed copper underneath.

Haven’t tried using these yet, but I see nothing wrong with them so far! I expect these to work as their expected to do. Got to be better then trying to connect wires by themselves with a screw holding wire in place. These should make a more solid connection!

If you're needing to reduce a 4 AWG wire to fit into an amplifier cleanly, THIS IS IT!! None of the "respected" local shops knew these existed, nor did Best Buy. They all shove the wires in and shave the ones hanging out. I was tired of that ghetto foolishness. It took a YouTube video to show me the light on these reducers. Simply catch all the wires, twist on, HEAT SHRINK IT IN PLACE, insert and tighten down the amp's set screw. All done! Won't ever install an amp without ferrules again if I can help it!

Beats sticking bare copper strand wires in charge controller and inadvertently shorting stray strands with adjacent hole. Also found out from other customer feedback or YouTube video that there's no need to crimp these ferrules as they get crushed when you tighten the screws and holds the wire in place tightly/neatly! Love them!

Had to install amp, this was a solution but cheapest solution is 50pcs. would have paid $2 for 3 pieces instead of $8 for 50pcs.Will never order again unless i end up installing another 20 amps. This will sit on my self and end up in the trash/dump/landfill/ NOT GREEN

These are the best for connecting your wires to your car Amps power blocks for positive and negative that have screw down ellen key tie downs , and there is no way you can pull them out , I highly recommend them to everyone

I use these as covers for stripped amplifier power wire and let the set screws on the amp crimp them. Works perfectly to keep strands from fraying out.

I use they're 4/8 gauge ferrules with AWG OFC without install problems. Easy for me to install and work perfect for taking in and out of applications. A must have for automotive audio enthusiast.
