I have recently bought these scales due to travelling with both Ryanair & Easyjet, who although like many other airlines offer a 20kg baggage allowance for checked luggage in the hold, they only allow 10kg for hand baggage in the cabin. I therefore needed to ensure I was within the limit before I set off to the airport. I would recommend these to anyone travelling abroad to avoid having to pay additional baggage fees, even for being just a little over the max weight, especially if you travel on budget airlines like Ryanair or Easyjet as they are very strict on weights (and overall size).These scales are very simple to use but although they come with a one-page instruction sheet, this does not explain the red & green lights very well, so had to go onto the Duronic website which did explain it. So for anyone who buys these scales & is not sure of those lights, the red light will turn on if the weight is higher than 20kg (as this is the maximum allowance for many airlines), but the scales will take up to 50kg with no problem, so the lights can be ignored if your allowance is greater than 20kg.

Great set of luggage scales. Quick delivery so was able to use them straight away for trip via Easyjet. I found the scales to be very accurate, my whole party used them and they tallied well with the weigh machines on the check-in desk. They are light, straightforward to use and come with a small bag for storage. Very useful to take away and check luggage for return journey after shopping abroad! A good value purchase.

These scales are accurate. I had a 20kg limit, my bag weighed 19.5kg on this scale, and on the airport they came up as 19.5kg - result..You loop the fabric which is connected to the scale around the handle of your bag then clip it on the metal triangle to complete a loop. To measure you lift the bag from the scale with one or two hands until it is off from the floor - this unit is quite good as the handle is quite big. (You do need to have enough strength to do this - I'm unsure if I could lift 50kg though which is the capacity of this scale).The unit comes complete with a soft case (which looks like a rolled up brown stocking!) different colour might be been better!You can change the weight from Kg to Ibs via the button, I managed to do this accidentally I couldn't get it back to Kg's so had to take the battery out. I think the manual could be a little clearer on that process since it says push the button to change weight, which is the on-off button.The screen is a regular LCD display, it has a Red/Green light which represents whether it above/under a set weight. This would be better if it was back lit as its not the clearest to read.A good value accurate luggage scale, 1* docked because of the instructions, and the screen could be back-lit.

I bought one of these two years ago, and have taken it everywhere (India, Myanmar, Italy, Estonia, Egypt, Morocco) ever since; the original battery is still working fine. I have since bought three more (responding to a review request from the most recent one) - one for my sister and brother in law, one for my parents, and one for my wife; all of whom fly a lot.It's the only way to make sure you don't have a nasty surprise at check in, especially with the new global 7 KG limit on hand-carry.Obviously it's not pinpoint accurate, irritating that people think it should be. I do 'best out of three' lifts and you are normally within .4 of a KG on a heavy case to what the 'official' airline scale will say - less on a hand-carry. Most check-in desks give you at least a kilo or half a kilo leeway on checked luggage in any case, and I've never had a problem packing to exact standard international weights (23KG & 7KG) according to the scale.Cheap, good, highly recommended.

Having used the normal spring type luggage scales over a number of years, this scale is a joy to use in comparison.The green/red light showing the weight is under/over 20 kilos is particularly useful. This is because, if you are weighing cases by yourself, you can see a positive or negative without bending over.The wide lifting strap is also good as the case does not easily slip out of balance during the lift.I have only one minor gripe in that the brushed aluminium decorative trim has come slightly unstuck from the plastic body of the scale, but performance is not affected. All in all - well recommended.

A great choice if you want a simple to use and accurate scale to measure the weight of your transport bags and not paying the Excess in airports check-in. It is small, the clip works great and you can save a LOT of money if you use it before travelling. Ah! Don't forget it at home for you will need it when coming back !

I seldom fly with low cost airlines and was staggered to find that the hold baggage allowance was a measly 15kg. With limits like this the scales are an essential - the excess baggage charges cost more per kilo than the scale. They are much easier to use than trying to balance a bag or case on bathroom scales, weigh next to nothing themselves and so can be taken on holiday to ensure that return baggage doesn't exceed the limits. Simple and easy to use, and they seem pretty robust.

We found these to be well made and accurate with the airlines scales to within 100-200grams, most times it was spot on!We were on many flights and had allowences from 20kgs to 23 to 25 to 30 and lastly 32 ! Scales performed wonderfully and it was so useful having them with us and not having to repack at the airport.Most travel scales require the strength to lift the bag in the first place.It was easy to hook into the bag and lift and it keeps the weight on the screen so you can lift blindly then look at it when you take it down.I would say go for it with this one!

Por fin puedo ponerme en la cola para subir a avión sin sudar cuando veo que las azafatas sacan su báscula de mano y comienzan a pesar maletas...Cada vez son más exigentes y más de una vez he tenido que pasar la vergüenza de abrir la maleta y ponerme cosas encima para quitar un par de kilos extra.Con esta báscula se acabaron las sorpresas. Además lleva la pila ya puesta, por lo que podrás usarla en cuanto te llegue!

J'ai reçu l'article en avance d'un jour de la date prévue. Le pèse bagage est de très bonne qualité, une très bonne finition du produit avec de bons matériaux. Il est très précis en pesée en le comparant aux balances des aéroports.Et le petit plus qui fait la différence est qu'il est livré avec une très belle housse pour le ranger dedans.Très bon rapport qualité/prix, je suis plus que satisfait de mon achat et je le recommande vivement.

Petite et très légère, elle ne prend pas beaucoup de place dans une valise.Pour l'instant je ne l'ai testé que à la maison, et il marche parfaitement et avec précision.Je reviendrais redonner mon avis après mon voyage en Thaïlande.

Article livré très rapidement, facile d'utilisation, robuste, léger à transporter, mais attention au pesage à l'aéroport, les valises étaient un peu plus lourdes qu'annoncées, il est donc prudent d'ajouter un petit kilo au poids des celles-ci..
