The item is nice
My biggest concern or disappointment is the directions. I went on youtube for the directions of putting it together. I really like the doors, which makes it look better.

Not as pictured
This came with missing pieces and most of all the dimensions are wrong. You can not fit 2 pairs of shoes in each section, only one it's only 31" in width

Not the greatest
Not the greatest bit kinda functional for smaller shoes. It isnt the easiest to put together and keep together. The connectors keep wanting to pop off. When you finally do get it to stay together bigger shoes don't fit very well. Smaller shoes or kids shoes fit in. But don't let kids use it unless they are gentle with it or it will come apart

Fiddly to assemble, physically lightweight, but studier than it looks
Jomifin Shoes Storage Cabinet, Shoes Rack with Doors, DIY Adjustable Expandable Shoes Organizer, Easy Assembly for storaging ShoesThe organizer comes packaged simply in a plain brown cardboard box marked "shoe cabinet". Inside the box, there are many small pieces in individually packaged bags. There are a lot of flat plastic-covered panels (black plastic with designs embossed on them) that are framed in what appears to be metal rods, a bunch of packages that look like domed handles or knobs, a couple of clear pieces for the front panel of the shoe cabinet, and a few packages of some type of white plastic connector. There is also a small wooden mallet, so I'm guessing you have to tap the pieces together in some manner. Wedged between some of the panels was a single instruction sheet that appears to be Ikea-style assembly instructions.Looking at the instruction sheet, this appears to be an instruction sheet for a larger version of the product than the one that we ordered. The one that we ordered is a six-compartment cabinet and this instruction sheet appears to be instructions for an eight-compartment cabinet. The drawings are similar enough that I'm certain we can figure out the instructions for the smaller version, but it would have been helpful to have the correct instructions included with the kit. In addition, the instructions show triangular-shaped panels and a key holder rod which are not in this kit.For the first step, you lay out some of the panels and use the black connectors on the corners. The small wooden hammer was used to ensure that the black connectors were completely seated.Instructions [pictagrams?] are fairly clear, and there are English printed instructions that go along with the printed pictures. Still, you'll need to be careful to put things together in order and be very careful how much force you use. We found that some connections snap together somewhat easily, whereas others needed the force of the little hammer that comes with the kit.Putting this kit together is very fiddly, and time-consuming. You will often need to move some of the connections you have already completed, to add a third or fourth connection to one of the corners using those black round connectors. You will also have connectors pop apart that you were pretty certain 3 seconds ago were fully seated, and then they come apart when you're trying to add the next section. The whole assembly process is a bit tedious and frustrating. Honestly, after putting the first rectangle. (Or approximately β ) of the kit together, we had to set it aside and take a break because one of the people assembling became quite frustrated with it. You'll need patience, a fair amount of coordination, spatial dexterity, and did I mention patience? All in, I think it took us about an hour and a half of fiddling about building, taking apart, and redoing several connections to get it all right. Right. Once it is all completely together, the strength-to-weight ratio of the device is pretty amazing. This thing is light as a feather, but it is quite stiff and fairly sturdy seeming once everything is put together in the right fashion. Currently, we're not using it for shoes or keeping some different supplies in it that aren't very heavy, and it seems to be performing fairly well.

Won't fit my needs
As others have stated, this is very difficult to assemble. It took me an hour and a half to put it together, once I found the directions, which were hidden between two of the larger panels. Even with experience working with these types of connectors this process was a chore and very frustrating. The directions do not explain that there is a specific was the upright panels have to go in to fit the shelf brackets...it is fairly intuitive once you have put the bottom row together and discovered that there is a right and wrong way. The step for when to put on the back panels is oblique and easy to miss. Parts that the instructions said were included were missing (2 angle panels for the top and key holder). The wooden hammer that is included to help you tap parts together is pretty useless as it doesn't provide enough force to get the parts pushed together as tightly as they need to be. I did end up bending one of the large panels due to the amount of force needed to snap them into place.Once all put together the bottom and middle level doors are slightly off kilter so you cannot open one without opening two because they are over lapping. The doors are opaque rather then than transparent, so being able to see through them (as described in the add) is a bit difficult. When I first ordered this the ad said that it would fgit 12-24 pairs of shoes. I see that they have since revised it so now it includes "...(12 pairs of adult shoes, MABY ONLY 6 Pairs of Men's Shoes, 24 pairs of kids shoes)depending on the number of cubes and The Size of shoes." With this change the ad is a little more accurate. As you can see from my pictures, if I wanted to store my winter boots it would be one pair per section and you would have 6 spare partition panels to store. If I turn one pair of boots backwards and can almost get 2 pair in....some Men's boots will not work at all unless you put them in sideways because the are longer from heel to toe than the cabinet is.While this had a lot of potential it failed on so many levels. This was meant to go in my closet to house our shoes neatly but I'm not going to use it since I will still have a pile of shoes around it since it will since it will not house as many shoes as the ad originally stated.

Shouldn't be so difficult to assemble, not sure how durable it will be over time
I'm going to give this a try, if for no other reason than the time invested in putting it together -- one of the more frustrating projects I've done recently as it turns out. It really SHOULDN'T be this difficult to assemble, this is just design laziness. Not sure how durable it's going to be over time, with kids throwing their shoes in and out all the time, but hoping it will last because it IS a convenient product for closet organizing.
