Reliable and Bright Oven Lamp
The OSRAM Halogen Oven Lamp is a great replacement for my oven light. It’s dimmable, which is a nice touch, and the 40-watt bulb provides just the right amount of brightness for the oven. The warm white light (2700k) is easy on the eyes, and the bulb works perfectly even at high temperatures over 200 degrees. Installation was straightforward, and it has lasted well so far. A solid choice for anyone needing a reliable oven light. Highly recommend!

Works ok.
Works! Just hope it lasts longer than a year. As with the last one which failed, don’t touch the bulb with your fingers as it can cause it to fail I believe. I wore a new nitrile glove.The packaging was a bit minimal - in a card Amazon envelope, thin cardboard product box and in that a plastic blister. The box was a bit squashed but no damage to the bulb.

Ordered to replace blown bulbs easy to use and good value for money. Would buy again.

A perfect replacement bulb to match the original in our oven
This bulb fitted perfectly into our cooker after the last one blew. The old one lasted 6 years. I'm hoping the same brand, being Osram, will last equally as long.I'm glad the advert description had measurements as well, so I knew I needed a T4 bulb because there is also a T3 which I believe is slightly smaller.Glad I could get exactly the same. Wattage and colour temperature so it really is just as if the oven bulb was as before.The packaging wasn't the strongest but the bold survived the postage okay.Not a bad price considering it. It is a specialist bulb and branded of course. So overall happy customer here and I recommend this one.

Does what it's supposed to do
Arrived by post in a Amazon A3 Card envelope with no added protection & the bulb box inside was squashed. Luckily the bulb didn't get broken. Definitely could have been a little better packaged as it glass.

Works so far...
I fitted this to my Lamona oven after I tried some cheapo alternatives which lasted only a few months. The original lamp lasted six years. I am somewhat mystified by the inclusion of a "Longevity" star rating as this will only be known after it has been fitted for several years. It wasn't very well packed as the original carton was crushed, but the lamp survived. There's no mention of the need to avoid touching the envelope with your bare hands which is usually advised for halogen capsules; I don't know how important this is; I used a piece of toilet tissue to hold it.
