2022 Apple TV 4K Wi‑Fi with 64GB Storage (3rd Generation)

I recently switched to the Apple TV 4K (3rd Gen), and honestly, I don’t think I can go back to any other streaming device.Smooth & Fast PerformanceRight from the setup, everything feels incredibly smooth. That's a judgemental call if you are really keen on having a latest hardware though the a15 bionic does a wonderful job.

The wifi board on my LG TV died. And so died all the OTT and apps and bluetooth connectivity. Decided against repair and decided to switch to a streaming device.- Fire TV stick: Cheap and powerful but absolutely trash interface. So many ads everywhere.- Roku: App supported is region locked and lot of indian OTT apps don't work on it.- Nvidia Sheild: Super expensive for such an old device and super hard to get.- Apple TV: Overpowered device for what little it can do. Expensive!And Apple TV won! Got the 64 GB model as I don't need threads support for other Apple devices or the large storage. But if you already are into apple ecosystem, pay the 2k extra and get the 128 gb model.Pros:- The quality of streaming is outstanding and WAY better than native apps on webos. This is very easy to tell when you look at content with really dark scenes. There is no noise and grey artifacts in the dark areas and everything looks super clean. This is likely down to superior processing on the device.- Interface is super clean and very intuitive. You can switch between streaming apps just like you would on a phone and content will resume from where you left. Don't feel wanting for any apps.- Don't use it for gaming but its pretty powerful to play most of mobile games you would play on such a device. 64 GB would be pretty handy in that case.- It looks sleek and remote is full metal. So it carries the weight of its price! Haven't charged remote since i got it, so battery life is pretty good too. USB-C charging as well!- Volume control works out of the box with the apple tv remote! Can't stress how big this is to live day to day with.- Many years of software updates and enough processing power means I won't have to change/upgrade this for the foreseeable future.Cons:- Remote is fine but has some major flaws.First is the click wheel seems very fragile to me. The feel and click sound on parts of the wheel is very shallow and I am not sure if it will last use over the years and new remote is super expensive. This is the only remote right now that gets the COVER treatment at my home.Second, for all the focus on User experience, I don't understand why they put pause button right below the back button! Even the button feel is the same. SOOO many times I end up pressing the back button instead of the pause button and exit the youtube playback. Back button should either be indented for a different feel or placed further away from others buttons.- NO BACKLIGHT ON THE REMOTE OF A 15K STREAMING DEVICE!- Siri on the home screen doesn't search content across the apps but only apple TV, which is just ridiculous. Only way to use it such is to go into the in-app search. Even then the voice search is a hit and miss. Not sure if its an APP issue or mac issue.- Absolute no additional I/O output on the TV device, not even an audio OUT.- Some features can only be used with an IphoneDespite the flaws, i love it! Simply for the streaming quality and interface.

The speed, functionality, picture quality, connectivity everything works perfectly amazing purchase. This is a future proof product. Amazing work Apple.

Awesome product as usual from Apple.I also think this is the most value for money product apple has ever sold!Many people think that it’s useful only for non smart TVs. However that’s not true! Even for smart TVs, this is useful as the UI is waaay faster than any TV UI out there, even 2L+ Samsung TVs. So the experience is so much better!Plus of course the seamless compatibility in case you are in the apple ecosystem.

Really good, very user friendly

I bought this because I was very much frustrated with the speed and performance of the Android OS 11 in my Sony Bravia. This does the job for me really efficiently. It’s flawless with no lag or hanging just like other apple products.Cost wise it’s a bit on higher side but if that’s not an issue for you, it really improves overall TV viewing experience.

Massive upgrade in picture and sound quality, silky smooth UI, superfast A15 bionic chip all these makes it a super cool powerhouse! Overall worth every penny🙌🏻
