The UPS resets itself shortly after the power comes back (battery still full), causing the connected appliances to lose power
I tested the UPS by unplugging its wall socket, the power held up for all the connected appliances and it managed to shutdown the connected computer too after the set time in PowerAlert software (15 sec). The total load was within the 450W limit.I then plugged the wall socket back in, and the UPS came back to normal mode. All was well up till that point. However, after about 30 sec the UPS reset itself, and all the connected appliances lost power for a short time then restarted.I tested this a few times with the same result. This defeats the whole purpose of having a UPS. It only happens if the computer was connected though. Not sure if this is a faulty unit or a design fault, but now I can only use it for non-computer loads, e.g. my router and my small Raspberry Pi.When I tried to return the item, Amazon said the item was not eligible for return due to the Lead Acid content (but then it was sent via a courier to me).Don't buy even if this is just me unfortunate enough to receive a faulty unit, as you can't return it if you are unlucky enough to get one too.
