The EcoFlow River 2 is a compelling, lightweight portable power station for weekends away, as it offers enough capacity to keep phones, cameras, and laptops charged up. The EcoFlow River 2 is a small, easy-to-use portable power station that can hold a decent amount of charge (and refill it very quickly) and has plenty of ways to access it, making it an excellent pick for keeping phones, laptops, and small appliances running on a weekend away. The EcoFlow River 2 is improved over the original, with more outputs: three USB and two AC outputs and the same capacity in a lighter package: 7.7lbs (3.5kg) (5kg) against the 11lbs of the original River. For something that you would carry with you uphill and across the dale, that’s a big difference. River 2 has also had some changes made on the inside from the original River, with EcoFlow moving to Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries (usually called LiFePO4 or LFE type). This newer type of battery replaces the Lithium Ion ones used in the original River, offering the advantage of standing up better to the rigors of heavy use and behaving better in the cold. EcoFlow claims they will keep working for 10 years or 3000 charge cycles. They only offer a 5-year warranty, though.

Working very well so far. Bought while it was at a discounted price. Extremely well built and should make weekends away in our motorhome so much better especially as we prefer not to use hook ups. The App works fine too even though we've only used it a few times but very handy to keep an eye on the units performance and which appliances are using power and how much. Also can keep a watch on how quickly it is recharging. Invaluable power station. Highly recommend.

Purchased in October 2024. River 2 with 45watt folding solar panel. A small but very effective unit... it seems. Bought this brand and model after research via video reviews and written reviews and because I wanted the small power unit, so I'm not disappointed and this ,I think it will work very well. Intended to maintain charge of a phone, tablet, dongle, camping lantern, music player, and possibly run a small TV. Maybe the other odd rechargeable item. I've put this through limited trails so far and I'm impressed... The charge rate via mains is superb and I've limited the input in the app for a slower charge. An hour ! Is all very nice but I'd rather charge a bit slower and maintain battery life quality. However, ECOFLOW made it and if they say it'll still be at least 80% capacity after 3000 cycles, then I guess if will be ! Discharge using just phones and tablet, it seems to have loads of hours to offer. Charging via 12v from my vehicle cigar lighter socket, I found it easily efficient and on just a 30 minute drive it achieved at least 10%, which I think is really helpful because I want to use this unit in a campervan, off grid. This means I can top up between locations. Charging via solar. Given that the panel I is only 45watts and the output is only up to 40 Watts, it performs well. I tested it on a late October day, bright, but low in the sky sun, with some passing clouds. It managed around 30watts to 35watts average and the power station went from 86% to 99% in say an hour and a half approximately. That's fair enough for a small panel and I'm certain that I'll get some productive use out of that in future. 3 ways to charge, 2 of them viable whilst out and about, excellent. Previously when the price of power stations were higher, I figured they couldn't compete with an old skool system of leasure battery, solar panel, installed wiring etc. I wasn't parting with my hard earned money... but now, it's a no-brainer £280 for the unit and panel is getting more like it ! Basically, with this setup I don't need ANY installation in my van, only this. Happy, two thumbs-up.

Working great. Not super powerful but very good quality and value.

Initially the River 2 worked as expected. I was excited to begin using it over the summer on various camping trips. Unfortunately, before I got the chance I noticed significant rattling coming from inside the unit. It sounded as if components had come loose and I was concerned about the safety of using it further. As can be seen from the pictures one of the mounting points has begun to disintegrate. Leaving multiple small plastic pieces to bounce around the internals. Not ideal. I purchased the Ecoflow because it is advertised as having good build quality and being durable. Yet before even taking the unit outside it has started to fall apart. Upon contacting Ecoflow through their customer support section in the app I was redirected and then told that they cannot help any further. Pretty disappointing. I've only had the unit for a few weeks. I appreciate my unit may have been defective but would expect more support given that I am clearly within the 5 year warranty period. Instead I'm left with a unit that I cant properly secure the top down on as the mounting point is completely loose. Very frustrating.

It's extremely portable with a handle and relatively light to carry. Great for charging up electronic devices via the USBA and USBC ports as well as a mains output that can be controlled by the EcoFlow App. Charges up in approximately an hour but you can limit the rate of charge from the App. Able to power a small LCD TV, router etc.

Great little power station. Served me perfectly at the isle of wight festival, kept my phone, jbl speaker and smart watch charged for the whole weekend.I use this in the garden, the car and around the home if all plug sockets are in use where I need power. Very handy.

Ich hab die River 2 mit 256wh und das 110er Solar Panel von EcoFlow und bin sehr zufrieden und begeistert ich hab eine Kompressor Kühlbox angeschlossen von Plug in Festivals 30l und die Powerstation hält locker 24 Stunden durch ohne zu laden. Mit den solar Panel ist die Powerstation in drei Stunden wieder voll und aufgeladen und mit dem Netzteil ist sie in einer Stunde voll top Ware Lieferung Kam wie immer pünktlich
