The right fit.
I had an older 23 quart Presto Pressure canner. The gauge was failing. This the replacement. Works perfectly.

Nice item. I used mine to measure psi in a homemade low pressure tank that I made for mushroom cultivation. I only allow the low pressure tank to reach 3 psi before a pressure relief valve relieves the pressure. This pressure gauge does a good job to measure even the little bit of psi that is obtained inside of my homemade 55 gal steel drum/low pressure pasteurizing/sterilizing tank. I did have to buy a special little nut with fine threads for it. First I checked Lowes and they were currently not carrying the item so i went to a local hard ware store named Mead's Hardware and they carried it, but they carry a lot of variety of things. I forgot the size nut it was. You may have to go to lowes or some place to get the measure for the nut and then call around your area to see who is carrying the nut. I don't know how it installs into a pressure cooker. It comes with a rubber thing that you see in the picture. I thought about just using that to install the gauge but it really seemed like it wouldn't be enough to hold the gauge. i wouldn't even try it to see. I would actually bet money that it wouldn't. But I'm no expert, so I bought the nut to be safe. This item was packaged very well. I BELIEVE YOU MAY HAVE TO BUY A NUT FOR THIS ITEM.

Fit perfectly
It was weird not using a nut to tighten it but after I looked up some direction online I saw it just fit into the supplied rubber grommet.
