Growers Choice Handy Scoop

I've had one of these for about 2 years. Personally, I think reviews from people who have had products for awhile are more meaningful because you want to know how a product holds up over time. This scoop is so good that I recently ordered a second one. Since ordering the first one, I've had scoops by other makers that aren't as good for a few reasons. Other scoops often have a poorly designed shape where they don't hold as much or the contents fall out easier, or they are somehow cumbersome to use due to the shape or design. Other scoops are often a low quality, cheap and flimsy plastic. This one holds a lot, the contents don't fall out until you pour, it's a strong and durable plastic. It holds up well overtime even being put in the dishwasher. I have included several photos of my older and newer scoops in two colours, shown how they look in my two dog food containers, how big they are in relation to my hand, and next to a tape measure in inches.

This makes feeding the animals a lot easier. It's good quality and worth the money.

I bought this at a very good price, just needed something to scoop more compost out the bag when using. Arrived on time and packaged well. The scoop is lightweight and does the job just fine with light or damp compost. It's a decent size and adequate for using to chuck compost onto borders/ fill pots etc. Versatility, can be used for other things such as bird food, ingredients, the list is endless. Comes in a nice green shade. Cleaning is easy enough apart from the handle where there are holes for stuff to lodge into, a good power wash does the trick. This is a one piece formed scoop I think, I'm not an expert, and is very useful. Ease of use for the jobs I'm doing is good. My only slight moan is the handle isn't particularly comfortable due to the shape and way it is made. I would find more comfort when using if it was more solid and rounded. It's like half a handle. Not sure on longevity but being aware of its formation I'm not scooping heavy things. Not returning as for the short use jobs it's fine and bearable, easy to take breaks if needed.

Good value, sturdy scoop. I use it for the large dog food kibble bin. I then bought a second one for the large bag of bird seed i have in the shed. The colour means it's easy to see and holds a good amount.

I haven't used it as a scoop yet, but it feels sturdy and solid. The sticky paper, however, is so hard to unstick. Half is firmly stuck, as per photo, and unless I use white spirit, which I will not be doing, it will need to stay as it is, while it becomes dirty from the soil and then impossible to clean the scoop well. Can you please use a sticky material that comes out whole?
