This works just like the original. Perfect so long as it lasts. Original Tv and remote over 10 years old. If this one lasts as long I'll be well happy. Got a 2nd one just in case as the price is good. Some other comments not valid as its not a programable remote.

Remote does not work. No instructions how to sync to tv. Went through countless youtube videos but each one was a waste of time because remote was missing vital buttons . Company issued a no returns policy which lead me to believe they know rightly it doesn't work and are essentially out to scam people. Amazon should look more closely at their association with such companys as it is soiling their good name.

Ideal Replacement for my Hitachi TV as old remote was accidentally broken, was impressed with this model, purchased another one the next day after delivery of the first one for a Grundig TV, this remote contro is compatible with both makes of TV.

Straight swap for an old Alba TV remote that has worn out through years of use. Saves me buying another TV for my wife. Hopefully I can use the money saved to buy a better one for myself in the home office at £5.80 it’s probably worth more than the TV it serves, but I can’t fault it

It was okay, but I am not convinced that it is an original Hitachi. It seems to work okay at present, although the finish is poor.
