I have had this phone for a good month or so now so enough time to work out what I like and what I don't like so much. The positives are: made in Germany so you know it's well built, nice size screen, fairly heavy which in my opinion is great because it feels robust, it's quick, the battery lasts very well, easy to set-up, really good display; this was one thing I was worried about because it has far fewer pixels compared to a lot of modern phones but no issues at all with the screen, camera is quick so great for capturing unexpected photographic moments, the screen lock/unlock button is also the fingerprint sensor which is genius! It's extremely fast at unlocking your screen just by glancing at it if you don't want to use your fingerprint, and in fact I might turn that off because sometimes I just want to see the time, not unlock it by looking at it! Good sound quality for phone calls and to listen to music - obviously it's still a small speaker so not going to compare to a sound system but I listen to the radio a lot on it and I'm also happy with the sound coming out. Lastly, and this is an excellent feature - the battery is replaceable! I mean, why don't all manufacturers do this? Well, because they make more money out of you by not doing, so it makes me feel Gigaset are not just out to make money, they actually want to make a product that lasts. On the not-so-good side: the emoji button is next to the space bar and I'm constantly pressing the emoji button instead of the space bar and end up putting smiley faces everywhere! Maybe there is a way of changing this in some settings somewhere and one day I might give it a go. And that's it for the negatives so I'll live with it! Overall, go for it, it's a brilliant phone and I plan on keeping it for years.

Excellent build quality, and decent specs for the price point, as well as being made in Germany, which is nice when almost all phones are made in China. Fast charging works well with my variety of chargers from Hama, Digitus and Varta, as does the wireless charging feature. Replacement batteries are only £30 on Amazon's German site (which ships to UK), so there's really nothing not to like.

I don't normally review stuff on amazon, but there were no reviews in English, and this is an off-piste phone from an unusual manufacturer. So I want to support them - is 4 stars supporting them of damning with faint praise? I have owned this phone for about a week now, so enough time to give an initial review. And I am primarily comparing it to my previous Samsung S10 and my wife's Pixel 6a. So: why did I go for this phone? I wanted a rugged phone for work and adventures, with a decent battery to keep me going while travelling to those adventures. My S10 is smashed to bits despite expensive cases. I had a short list of CAT S75, Samsung Cover Pro 6, and this GX6. In the end I chose this due to battery, headphone socket, dual sim, sd card, price and because it is made in Germany. Size - Being a rugged phone it is big, and quite heavy, but that comes with the territory. It is far bigger than my S10, but not a huge amount bigger than the Pixel 6a. However, I have stopped using a case, so that evens things up a bit. (Downside is, I keep forgetting my wallet, because I am used to keeping my cards in my phone case). Display - the display is bright enough for a bright, British day in summer. Easily matching my S10, but not quite as bright as the Pixel 6a. There is a solid black rim round the display, this is not a flagship phone with curved glass and LCD to the edges, but that's not important to me, I have 3 different cracks on my S10, not having that happen is what's important to me. Responsiveness - nice and fast, stock Android with no bloatware, not even facebook pre-installed. A delight. There are a few features from my S10 that I miss, but after a week, I can't actually remember what they are. Battery - Lasts a day of moderate to heavy use charging to 90% (this is a feature to maintain battery life, but can be changed to 100%, if that's how you roll). Spare batteries (they are replaceable) are available, and when I am next in Germany I will try to pick one up. SD Card - I did my usual, transfer all my photos from my S10 to my SD Card and move it across, except... it couldn't read that card. I ordered a new SD card and installed it, but still need to transfer my 5000 photos across. Transfer software - on that subject if I had had an SD card available, I could have transferred everything across during the initial start up including photos, videos and audio files. Apps, contacts and everything else came across fine - including in some cases the logins for those apps (which is a little worrying). Buy an SD Card when you buy this phone, install it before you start it and you can avoid this problem. Camera - the camera is fast and so much more responsive than my S10, which would often take pics of my leg because the "click" would go a second before the pic was taken. I am loving the macro lens, on some reviews there has been a "what's the point", but for me it's great. Bumblebees and flowers are not safe from my invasive photos. The main camera has, so far, produced some excellent photos too, brighter and sharper than the S10. Ruggedness - well I haven't dropped it in the bath or onto concrete yet, so I can't really comment on that yet. So I am torn between 4 and 5 stars, it is a definite 4.5 based on one week's use. It would be nice if the screen was a little brighter - it will be interesting to see how it performs on a bright ski slope, or at the beach in summer., but apart from that it is perfect for me.

The combination of removable battery + wireless charging + 120hz screen + 3.5mm jack is amazing and no other phone offers it. Love it! Small note: I wish there was better availability of accessories (like the battery) outside Germany. I bought the phone thru Amazon UK but am struggling to find a way to buy the battery for it.

Aangeschaft op 3 Januari 2024. Zonder enige kennis van het merk. Meerdere keren laten vallen, ook met het scherm op de straat. En totaal geen schade aan de buitenkant en de binnenkant. Alle functies en behuizing en het scherm geen haperingen of barsten. En wat ook een goede optie is......de accu is te vervangen voor een nieuwe. Wat een bijzondere optie is, helemaal als het bij andere merken vrijwel niet zelf te vervangen is. En na vervanging is het toestel weer waterdicht en stofdicht. Ik heb een 2e accu genomen, zodat ik niet meer een powerbank met een oplaad kabel mee hoef te "zeulen" naar festivals of weekend weg etc. Kortom een degelijke kwaliteit met Unieke opties.

Promesses tenues selon description du produit. Bonne impression de solidité. Pas de fioritures "tape à l'oeil", que du fonctionnel. Très bonne réactivité à l'usage. Très bonne sensibilité aux réseaux. Bonnes photos. Effectivement deux jours d'autonomie en utilisation normale par des gens actifs dans la vie réelle 😉, et batterie échangeable au besoin. Garantie de mise à niveau bien spécifiée et effective. Il faut bien compter une bonne soirée pour la mise en route (facile et rapide) et pour exécuter la mise à niveau logicielle (succession des versions).

Das Gerät kann sich in Punkto Haptik Funktionalität Design durchaus mit den ganz Großen der Branche messen...Die Kamera hat für ein Smartphone in dieser Klasse eine beeindruckende Bildleistung. Das Gerät bietet eineiges auf für einen angemessen Preis. Absolut Top ist dabei.... - der Akku ist ohne großen Firlefanz austauschbar....wenn er defekt ist. -dual Sim -speichererweiterung durch zusätzlichen microsd slot möglich. -Militärstandard MIL-STD-810H + IP68 staub- und wasserdicht. Das Display ist echt hell man kann auch bei direktem Sonnenlicht noch etwas erkennen...mein Ulefone armor 9 hat da schon Probleme gehabt. -apps öffnen zügig der Appfluss ist ok Android Version 13 bringt das phone von Hause aus mit. -es sind keine lästigen Werbe und Connect Apps oder sonstige bloodware oder spamapps vorinstalliert... Die Oberfläche ist Android Standard. Habe mir den Nova Launcher geladen. Den nutze ich aber auf allen Android Geräten. Wifi 6 BT 5.2 5G LTE ist auch an Board auch NFC und eine Wireless charge Funktion. Ökologisch wenn man es so betrachten Möchte ist das GX6 gerade wegen des Austauschbaren Akkus anderen um Armlängen vorraus.... Es kommt mit einer minimalistischen Verpackung daher. Es ist ein Daten bzw Ladekabel usb auf usbc dabei....jedoch ohne Netzteil.. Das teil lässt sich auch mit Handschuhen und Nassen Hände noch halbwegs bedienen. Es hat einen wao Effekt. Wenn es neben anderen phones auf dem Tisch liegt.....wird gefragt wasn das fürn Gerät....ich sagte nur das n GX6...ist das n Samsung...?.. wurde gefragt.....nopp das ist n Gigaset.. Aha.....als Ergänzung Made in Germany....hm....viele wissen gar nicht das es Smartphones Made in Germany überhaupt gibt.... Es gibt nix zu Meckern und zu bemängeln...lediglich das ein Netzteil nicht zum Lieferumfang gehört ist etwas ärgerlich....tut aber der vollen 5 Star keinen Fall s schaden. Klare Kaufempfehlung

Si tratta di un oggetto. bello e funzionale. Leggermente pesante, a me piace così. Buone le dimensioni. Si ha la sensazione di avere un bel computer in mano. La funzionalità é ben congegnata. Vengono fatti aggiornamenti con regolarità. L'ho scelto per la batteria facilmente sostituibile e per la memoria espandibile. Altra buona ragione per l'acquisto é costruito in Europa.
