The cable does the job and works fine, although he plastic is a bit cheap looking and the cable does not transpose the wires for use with an chinese telephone system such as used on a gsm modem but apart from that it works as expected.

Just what I was looking for
I used this to connect an old BT landline handset to my new router after switching to fibre broadband - fast delivery, works well and saved me having to buy a new handset!
