Great product! Works as advertised!
Just received this item and it works great! The ice balls come out crystal clear! Very easy to use. The directions state to use warm or hot water but I didn’t find this to be necessary. I used the filtered water from my fridge, and the ice balls are perfect! Highly recommend!

The Balls come out Perfectly
I’m using this to make crystal clear ice balls.they are about two inches in diameter., and perfect size to fit in a cocktail glass. It takes at least 24 hours to freeze properly. It is a bit difficult to remove the silicone pieces that form the balls, but, with patience and persistence, out they come! I recommend these for those people who like the novelty of clear ice in their drinks.

Finally, a device that makes CLEAR spheres!
This is my third spherical ice device and the only one that delivered clear spheres. The molds just won't work, regardless if you use bottled water or boil your water beforehand. You'll always get clouds. The only way to get clear spheres is the "directional freezing" method used by this device. It works like a charm.

Nice ice
Makes great clear balls of ice. Downside is it's slow.

Amazing ice maker
A great tray for making crystal clear ice. Got it as a gift and they absolutely loved it. The ice came out very clear and looked great in a nice tumbler glass. Easy to use but it can be a little difficult to remove the rubber mold when frozen but a little shimmying gets it loose. Even over freezing it hasn't caused me issues. Overall a great product.

Amazing; search for 100% crystal clear ice mold is over!
I don’t write a lot of reviews. But this product is worthy of one. I’ve purchased basic ice molds, and 3 sets of Tovolo molds. Sure, you get a ball of ice but they’re cloudy, cracked, and or have bubbles. I even watched YouTube videos to refine the process to chase the perfectly clear ice ball. Experimented with filtered water, and distilled water; even fabricated solo cups to immerse molds in larger ice bath. When I broke a plastic bowl I almost gave up.Well, then I bought this product. Right out of the box, with unfiltered hot tap water, the very first set was completely flawless. And, there’s no need to run the mold under water to release. The silicone molds are super thick and heavy; simply open and a clear-as-glass ice ball comes out.Super happy with this product!

Works Perfectly
This does a great job of making perfectly clear ice spheres. Follow the instructions to a T, and take the advice of another reviewer here who said to let it sit on the counter for 15 minutes before trying to remove the ice (I do 10 minutes), and you'll have no problems. If you get spheres that aren't fully formed at the bottom, leave the next ones in for a bit longer - on my first try I left them in the freezer for 24 hours and had that problem, so I left the second run in for 26 hours and they were perfect.I will mention that if you're here because you want to make good-looking colored ice using food dye, it will not work - all the dye goes to the water at the bottom and the spheres still come out completely transparent. This was just an idea that I was hoping would work, but it's not stated anywhere in the description, so I'm not taking any points off for it - does an excellent job of what it's supposed to do.

Awesome clear balls!
Wow, this is amazing. The ice balls are really clear and slow melting. They are really beautiful. You have to read the directions for this to work. You need to melt the ice left in the bottom before you start a new set of balls. If you don't the balls will not be clear but cloudy. Also, to remove the frozen balls from the mold you have to pull one side of the mold then the other. But it is relatively easy to remove. You will get like two balls a day with this...not a lot more than that. So I have a container to hold all of the ice balls for later if needed.Basically you fill the bottom half with really warm water, then put the rubber mold in, and then fill with cold water. Then put in the freezer. The build quality is great. Packaging is great. 5 stars.
