Does the job great with all the little gimmicks you get with modern internals. Airation has a strong current with tons of oxygen put into the tank. The waterfall bar is great also and all comes apart for preference, need and cleaning.Pump is strong with a high flow, circling the current from 1 side back to itself and because of that little activated carbon canister beats out almost all over internal filters under the £20 price range easily imo. I added a cut of fine sponge into the activated carbon box and it leaves the water crystal clear.The thing is tiny also. My only 2 gripes are 1. Cable vibration can be loud and you need to jiggle the stuff behind your tank to stop it.2. the 2 bottom sections. One is for the impella cap and flow rate while the other is for the filtration media. The top one for the flow rate broke one side of the seals. This hasn't affected how clear it keeps the water but things do cling to that side as you can see in the picture. But maybe this was me because the thing is hard to pull apart. Except getting it apart it's easy as anything to clean and replace the activated carbon.100% worth the money for a medium size 80l tank. I've added another filter to this tank due to fry being spawned but that's me being safe for bio load otherwise this filter would of been fine as is.

What a great powerful aquarium filter that lasts a long time my old one is still going strong 4 years later the only problem is you can't turn the flow down but that isn't a problem as I've come up with a great cheap idea 😁😁 I bought these from Amazon https://amzn.eu/d/aOQGgQy as I'm using the spray bar and it is too powerful for the fish I have you can also use them on the filter outlet and put a cable tie on it making sure to cut the cable tie once you have tightened it buy these and take the foam out of the hole in the middle and place over your spray bar it lowers the flow once they are wet they work a treat you can put as many as you want on to meet your fishes needs I would seriously recommend this filter boy is it powerful here is the link again to reduce your flow for spray bar or intake https://amzn.eu/d/aOQGgQy

This is great, my fish seem very happy . The only problem I had was taking the filter apart as it was very tight and the instructions weren't very clear as I was left with a bit that I haven't a clue where it goes, but overall worth every penny.

This replaced a Fluval 4 that literally blew up from a short circuit caused by a worn wire.This filter cost £18 rather than the £70 the fluval 4 would have cost. The plastic doesn't feel quite as sturdy, but I think it is strong enough. It is powerful and is keeping the water in my large Juwel Vision 260 tank crystal clear and aerated. I've even disconnected a big external cannister filter as it's not needed.It's a bit noisy when you allow it to suck air down from the surface, but silent when running under water. I'd recommend it. Might be too powerful for a smaller tank, causing strong currents, but the less powerful models are even cheaper.

The media could not be loaded. sounds like a hovercraft going uphill for the 1200 litre model. it works well but if its for a indoor aquarium my mum who has dementia would need air plugs to enjoy the fish tank
