Q: Can I put the clock on my shelf is there a stand? Or do I have to fix it do the wall

There is a stand which folds out of the back of the clock, or it can be hung on a wall. Very good product.

Q: Does it reset itself after a power cut?

Q: Is this a genuine svinz clock? Initial image showed svinz on the front frame. When the clock arrived no mention of svinz anywhere on the clock.

The version I got in August 2020 did not display Svinz on the clock or manual. It did not appear on the screen at startup either. Instead it said 'Made life interesting' or something. That said it seems work fine as described, only issue is the date is very close to the edge of the screen unlike photos.

Q: Can preset times be changed?

It has no preset time. You have to set the time on it
