Icybox IB-AC628 Aluminium Suitcase for 2.5-3.5-Inch HDD

Very good archive box for my hard drives. Excellent quality and value. Some drives a tad tight but excellent protection and use of space.

I back up alot of video on to Hard Drives and these boxes are great for storing them. Better for 3.5 inch drives rather than 2.5 inch but I use adapters to make a 2.5 inch fit a slot for a 3.5 so it works better.

So far so good.

Just the job for all those loose hard drives lying around in drawers, boxes and old computers and USB drives. Now I can keep them all in one safe place and utilise them with a cheap external plug in hard drive kit. This product from Icybox is exactly what you expect from this manufacturer - quality.

Just thought I'd chime in on the flexibility of the case sides. This is a desired feature. If the sides were hard thick aluminium then any bumps or shocks would be passed through to the contents of the case itself, and as its a hard drive case this could lead to bad times. The sides have a certain amount of give to absorb some shock. Couldn't be happier with this.

Bought this to store all my spare and back up drives into one case, rather than putting them all over the place, probably never to be seen for a long time Also comes with lock a two keys

Got this when it was around £30. The internal looks nothing as professional as the images make it out to be it, in fact looks like cheap with padded mdf dividers. The hard drives are fully encased, so they are quite snug. You might prefer this but as someone who takes drives and swap them around on a regular basis, it's makes it hard to get a good grip on it to take it out. This is not stackable. Personally I would recommend the " Salcar Aluminium Protection Case for 3.5 inch Hard Drive,10 * 3.5 inch HDD Storage SATA IDE Hard Disk Drive Box " - i own one - instead of this, but if given the choice would opt for "ORICO 3.5 inch 20 Bay Hard Drive Protective Case (PSC-L20)" if you can find it (I own three).

Really good storage for my growing collection of backup drives. You can move/remove the dividers so that you can have larger storage areas, I put some cables and a small USB3/ESATA docking station in with the drives so everything is together. Pretty sturdy case overall with decent handle and hinges.

Je ne pensais pas avoir un produit d'aussi bonne qualité. Seule la serrure fait un peu cheap, le reste, poignée, parois, cadre, tout est bien solide ! Les emplacements sont bon, un peu plus large a certaines endroits que d'autres, mais il suffira d'y mettre les plus gros disques !

Buena caja para guardar los discos duros, en interior esta acolchado con espuma y sujeta muy bien los discos, esquinas de aluminio y cuerpo de aluminio y plástico. Con asa fuerte y cerradura por si quieres cerrarlo. La mejor opción para guardar tus discos de 3.5 y transportarlos o dejarlos almacenados. Materiales de calidad, muy satisfecho con la compra.

l'articolo è di ottima fattura e sono soldi spesi benissimo. La ditta distributrice è molto professionale e cortese. C'è stato un ritardo nella spedizione, non per colpa loro, e si sono comportati in maniera estremamente cordiale.

très bien pour mettre mes disque dur USB, reste un peu de place dans les emplacements pour y mettre les cables .... solide ... bref je suis satisfait .... la serrure est pas top et les clefs bidons mais bon je m'en sert pas alors ce n'est pas grave bref la boite est parfait pour mon utilisation
