WWE SUMMERSLAM
The Main Event is for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship between John Cena and Seth Rollins and the other Main Event is the bad blood between Brock Lesnar and the Undertaker. These 2 wrestling matches alone make the DVD highly recommended viewing!!

Good show on a basic disc
Credit where it's due, Summerslam is essentially the second biggest show of the year in WWE and for the 2015 version they threw a bit more effort into making it seem like exactly that. The four hour run time, celebrity involvement, Brooklyn setting, Wrestlemania rematch etc - they're giving it everything here and the results are pretty successful. Ok it's not actually Wrestlemania but the card is strong and the work ethic is high which adds up to a good show. The extras on this disc are a different story - they're rubbish. This is the card and a brief breakdown of the extras....Randy Orton v Sheamus - Decent enough show opener, nothing especially memorable about it but the live crowd are into it which is always a bonus for the match in this position.Lucha Dragons v Los Matadores v New Day v Primetime Players - Tag Titles - A lively and entertaining affair. It's occasionally sloppy but when it's this much fun they can get away with it.Dolph Ziggler v Rusev - Didn't care much for this soap opera feud which may be for the best considering they suddenly dropped it before it actually reached a conclusion. The match itself is perfectly fine but would/could have been better without the lame finish.King Barrett & Stardust v Neville & Stephen Amell - Amell handles himself pretty well here. They keep things relatively basic of course but the match definitely succeeds at that level.Big Show v Miz v Ryback - Intercontinental Title - This is bright and breezy, tells a good story and proved to be better than I expected.Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper v Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns - This can't match some of the classic Shield/Wyatts stuff from years gone by but it's still pretty electric at times. Good stuff.John Cena v Seth Rollins - World & United States Titles - Rollins brings his A-Game here, a stellar effort from the champ which elevates this to a quality scrap that has a good big fight feel to it.Team Bella v Team BAD v Team PCB - Elimination Match - Not exactly the Divas Revolution I was waiting for. An ok but relatively unengaging match where the two ladies the crowd seemingly want to see (Sasha and Charlotte) get the least ring time.Cesaro v Kevin Owens - I reckon this is underrated. A tough place to be on the card, it's been a long night and the much anticipated main event is just around the corner. But these two knock up a tough, hard hitting, at times innovative scrap.Brock Lesnar v Undertaker - So this is that much anticipated main event. After the slightly flat Wrestlemania encounter, this is better bout in almost every way - at times its fantastic. Then there's the finish - I can see what they were going for but I wonder if it looked better on paper than it did in reality. The live crowd clearly have no clue what's going on which ends the card on a slight downturn but such is life. The extras.....Sheamus has plans for The Viper - 90 second interviewStephanie McMahon is anxious for a Diva Revolution - 90 second interviewThe New Day celebrate their victory with positivity - 60 second interviewPCB plan to take over the world - 50 second interviewThe only Blu Ray exclusive extra.....Brock Lesnar is face to face with The Deadman - 15 minute segment from the 17/08/15 episode of RawThat's your lot. The show is good. The extras are not.
