I already had put together a first aid (dog) kit for my car, to which this is a welcome addition.I recommend reading it in advance - it's a simple small booklet but has all sorts of practical information about normal ailments, insect stings and more serious injuries. Will be good to have this very practical advice to hand in case of an accident, when one tends to panic and forget.Ordered for myself and as an Xmas gift to someone who just got an active puppy.

Brilliant I brought to these to give one to my brother is also a dog owner brilliant all I can say it has everything you need to know about saving your dog and puppies it tells you everything about some CPR right the way through on to dress a wound I would recommend this product and any animal owner 2 on 1 of these manuals and to read up about it it could save your dog's life this book is brilliant well done and thank you for bringing it on time and in perfect condition I have nothing but gratefulness for this book and one day it might even save a dog's life which put this seller in my good book please please I do recommend you buy this book is well priced it's very good and easy to read and it will help you save and animals like if you have an animal I recommend the Settlers in this book thank you so much

As an ex paramedic I have always been comfortable with all things first aid. That said, this book is so useful, +well laid out and easy to read. How to do mouth to mouth (or mouth to nose) on your dog. How to do CPR and where to place your hands. How to find a pulse on a dog/cat. How to move an injured animal. How to deal with bleeding and the best position to put your animal in etc. The principle is the same for dogs and humans, however, I would have struggled to find the pulse in my dog. Lots of very useful info that could save your pets life in the event of an emergency. Hopefully we never have to put any of this knowledge in to practice, but how grateful you would be that you had read this book, in the event of an emergency!

Bought this for a doggy holiday with a little handy first aid kit just incase. book is full of all different tips and instructions to help with pictures to follow if needed. fab little buy to have in your possession even if just out on a home walkies.

Simple to follow, gives you basic information on how to help your dog in emergencies. I bought this to go with a first aid kit as it’s small enough to be folded slightly to fit in. The info on chocking I thought was very good as before I had been worried about my dog eating rawhide, she likes to try swallow last bits whole so at least now I know what to do!

Stunning world class book nothing could be as great as this book. With great photo to back up what is written. Size is great can fit in a pocket in a bag . I shown others it has taken their breath away. Sadly it is very hard to find first aid classes for dogs cats yet one book this one will show you the right path should the worst happen.

Very handy . No substitute for a practical course however when our lab appeared to have something stuck in his throat and was running around the kitchen in a panicked I tried to clear his mouth with my hand and nearly got bitten so reached for this book and read how to do the Heinrick manoeuvre to clear her throat and it worked so big thank you
