Cuprinol 2.5L Garden Shades - Sweat Pea

Purchased Sweet Pea. Arrived within days. Had cleaned and cleared out dusty large shed. Decided on Sweet Pea (pale pink) to give a fresh, clean look to all the brick walls and two grotty looking fence doors. Applied 3 coats, the colour at 3 coats on old plain unpainted plain wood really came into its own. Will be applying a 4th coat in an hour. Now lovely warm pale rich pink. I ordered two 2.5 litres, so at £24 it was a bargain and enough to paint my second smaller shed too. Paint is easy to work with, but you must stir it well with a wooden spoon to make sure it is properly mixed. I used a 2 and even a 1 and half inch extra long handled brush so there was minimum bending and it glides on very easily. I personally find Fence brushes far too hard to work with. This little extra long 2 inch brush is much easier and it does not take long to do the job. The paint barely drips and if it does it is because I have probably put too much paint on the brush. Less is more. This paint easily washes off with a damp tissue or sponge whilst painting and afterwards the paint just washes off easily in running cold water. No need for turps as this is a water based paint. The more coats you apply of these Cuprinol Shade paints the less the grain shows through. This pale pink paint amazingly covered a little bit of dark blue in just 2 coats, which is surprising. Painting always hurts my fingers so I rub in Ruta Cream which you buy on Amazon. Also Arnica massage oil helps with sore muscles. after painting and relieves pain.

Really pleased with this pot of paint/stain. A little goes a long way as it's very thin ( a cross between paint and stain) Easy to apply and Sweet Pea is a great colour looks fab.

Absolutely thrilled with this colour, painted my shed willow green and sweet pea. Everyone comments on what a lovely colour it is, and I will definately be buying some more

I found this product very thin it was like painting with milk I bought the decking paint which was excellent and good coverage so thought the shades range would be of the sae quality very disappointed

Very pretty shade. Goes on easily. Winter will tell me if it lasts!
